“Went in today to get a watch strap replaced for my husband. The service was quick, everyone was very polite but worked with urgency. I can't thank this place enough they had an extra long strap just what my husband needed and the pin that held the strap in place was rusted, replaced the pin free of charge. The price was about 40 bucks because of the longer strap, but for that great service I would come back again. My husband is gonna love this gift for our first anniversary, thanks.”

I like to browse the used watch section and check out the current deals on these somewhat retro watches. The owner is the best, and the new inventory is always arriving. come by and have a look! They also repair and restore watches. I hope to do buisness with them in the future.”

“I loved my experience with J&L! My husband purchased some earrings from J&L for me for Christmas, but they weren't quite my style, so I visited to exchange them. Molly was fantastic! She was friendly, fun, and very helpful. I spent a while trying on different pairs of earrings, and Molly never made me feel hurried or pressured. Normally I don't really like shopping, but I had such a great time! And I love my new earrings!”
“I came here after I had gotten two terrible quotes at different places nearby. I didn't want to sell at that point, I was demoralized, but I had to take my girl to work and I had no gas money. I gave up and decided to take anything at the next closest place, that's when I arrived here. I entered and was instantly nicely greeted and asked a couple of questions like why I wanted to sell which no other place had even bothered to ask, I explained my situation to him and he truly tried to understand, he had already given me a quote but right before I left the shop he gave me extra money and a two dollar bill for good luck I couldn't help leave his shop crying he had doubled the last quote I had received, he saved my Christmas Eve I called my mom crying there is still good people out there. I would recommend this place over any shop in the LBC! I'm telling you this is the place.”

“First as a husband that couch is very comfortable while your wife is shopping around. It was very welcoming the staff was very helpful. On our first trip in we didn't end up purchasing anything. But my wife was interested in a certain sweater. They got her number down added her to some type of list. When the sweater came back into stock she got a text message. We just happened to be on our way to a Tasting Room a few doors down from this store. So we decided to stop in check it out. On Second Glance my wife did not like the sweater. But they had a jacket that caught both of our eyes. We ended up getting that jacket. It was around $110 seemed a little high but the quality was there.”

“This is my go-to spot for local, handmade body soaps. It's a family-owned business that has some clothing, but mainly skincare. For those familiar with downtown Long Beach, the company used to be Ash Bay Soap Co. and used to exist on Broadway. They're rebranding as Saffria and this is their forever home. They consistently run a special on soap bars where you get 4 for $25 and you can mix and match. You really have to plan ahead though as they sell out fragrances rather quickly, and if you don't have your stock, you have to explore other options. *we buy in bulk and stick in the fridge. They also usually have bath bombs, oils, etc as well. If you're looking for quality and care about ingredients, this is the place for you.”
“I popped into Maral Designs recently and am so glad that I did. The store is like a treasure box with its unique, eclectic and worldly clothing items and accessories everywhere you look! Maral herself was so approachable and engaging too. I purchased a set of linked, sparkly bangle bracelets that I couldn't wait to wear. This is a great place to find expressive statement pieces, most of which won't be seen anywhere else.”
