About Long Beach Rescue Mission
Long Beach Rescue Mission provides shelter, food, and a place to sleep for those in need. It serves free lunches and dinners around 5 PM. The mission helps people get back on their feet, reach jobs, and restart life in a sober environment. It includes Samaritan House for men and Lydia House for women with children. Some find the religious services and introduction to Jesus Christ life-changing. While some staff are noted as helpful, others are viewed as unprofessional. Parking near the mission is difficult.

Wow Pastor Russell was very helpful. Parking near the mission is a pain. Pastor found a solution for me. I will continue to bring food to the mission.
