This is a fantastic bookstore. Well-curated with a selection of books and art that reflect many contemporary leftist & radical struggles. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. I got some awesome L.A.-specific zines, books, and art cards. Thank you so much !

Best revolutionary bookstore I have come across in LA County.✌?❤️?There is a great mix of leftist literature ranging from Saul Williams to Mike Davis to Howard Zinn. I especially love the counterculture art books.. and the PRINTS. I picked up a Ricardo Flores Magon print from a Mexican graphic artist and a Zapata print for my bf..?✨I also purchased two class sets of books: “A Young People’s History of the US” and “The People Speak - Dramatic Readings Celebrating the Enduring Spirit of Dissent.”✨ Chris was so kind to offer a discount. I did not take it this time as it is important to support small bookstores like this one by paying full price but it meant a lot to me that he offered.. and, we also had the funds so I am very thankful to have found this curated bookstore. Made my life easier by recommending literature for our high school youth program and we got to run down our budget by ordering ahead. ????❤️??They also have a Monthly Poetry reading series, that I commute 45 minutes on the Blue Line Metro from South Central to Long Beach for… hahah. I’m a fan! “Trenches Full of Poets”Thanks, Chris for being an ally to the hood kids that love revolutionary art and literature!! We see you too.??

A gem in my neighborhood! so happy to have this bookstore only a 2 minute walk from my house. This is an activist bookstore - the selection is curated very intentionally to cover social justice issues and difficult (necessary) topics. Chris - the owner - is the one you'll see in the shop. Any books not currently on the shelves can be ordered. let's all support our local bookstores in 2023? :)

A small bookstore that focuses on leftist/anti-capitalist/anti-racist non-fiction, with a shelf or two of relevant fiction/classics. The owner was absolutely a delight to speak with and gave my friend and I solid recommendations for the type of books we wanted to read. Would definitely visit again if I'm in the area!

Chris is super helpful and inviting. Lots of lovely conversation, plus public events including a Marxist Theory class! Not a huge selection, but a very good selection. And when he doesn't have in stock what I'm looking for, he gets it for me in a timely fashion.

I drove by this place and knew I had to stop and go in based on the name! Cute little bookstore with curated collected of books on social justice, philosophy, art, nature, etc. I didn’t get the name of the person working in the shop but they were very kind and welcoming.
