Petco, located at 6500 Pacific Coast Hwy in Long Beach, is a pet store that offers a broad range of brand‑name pet nutrition products and supplies for dogs, cats, birds, small pets, fish and reptiles. Customers describe the store as very nice, clean, and with plenty of staff to help. The cashier happily price matched an item that was less on the website. The parking lot is large and the location is safe. The groomer is professional, personable, and talented; she listens and asks all the right questions so the pup gets the grooming the owner wants. The clinic provides shots, a blood test, and a quick and easy checkout with a treat and a toy. A store associate helped locate a dog crate, looked up the SKU in another section, carried it to the front register and ensured a price match. All customers report a good time and excellent service.
It’s the only Petco of the many I’ve tried , that has the leaps and bounds dog frisbee . The floating green one ! Best beach toy ever !
The store is clean and organized and the people working there are very nice and helpful.

Very nice Petco store. We went a little bit late, so unfortunately they didn't really have enough staff to help us, and we really needed it. But the 2 staff members were nice. Lots of parking, and very safe location.
