“I like the cat food here but have had bad experiences with the stick toys. They break quickly, and I mean within 1-3 days. People at the store are usually pretty nice with helping you find things. One time though I thought I had a coupon for something, so all I said was, "Oh I think I have a coupon." and the employee very rudely said, "You need to print it out." I wasn't pushy about the coupon or anything, it was just their immediate reaction to what I said. I just said, "Oh, um, okay." And bought my cat food and left, feeling confused and upset. That experience still sticks with me even though it was a few years ago because I have no idea why that employee had to be so rude to me about it. I get some people are rude about coupons, but I literally did nothing but say I thought I had one. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth, the unwarranted antagonism. Especially as someone that deals with social anxiety and depression, it just made me feel like something is wrong with me for awhile. I get food delivered sometimes and it always goes well and it within the time frame.”
“My dog is a frequent bather at Belmont launder pet. In fact, we have been going there for over 7 years and they keep getting better and better. They do an excellent job and are kind and loving to our pets. Your dog will be happy there and come home looking and smelling great!!”

“Low cal food for an overweight doggo. Since starting with their human grade food he lost 10 lbs in first 3 months. Im so proud of him and the new energy sparked by him on walks. I buy venison with sweet potatoes,beef and rustic potatoes, and turkey, plus the pumpkin treats he just adores. It's a little pricey but using the renewed energy and weight loss it's worth every penny. The staff are both helpful and pleasant and will guide you big youre unsure of which foods to get”
“I used their Doggie hotel service and was highly satisfied. My dog seemed happy when I picked him up and the staff was friendly. I also buy wet food for my dog there from time to time. They have a great selection at a good price. The hotel price is a bit hi but they do offer a Veteran discount which comes in handy.”

Someone in my apartment complex left their cat behind (which is illegal, but here we are) and we took it to the local Petco Thrive/ Lakewood to see if there was a microchip--no chip. Seeing that they had cats up for adoption, I asked about how we could get this little one adopted in their program. Come to find out, it's Pet Assistance Foundation of Long Beach who runs that. After contacting the group there, we were able to determine that this 8 month old cat was pregnant, had worms, and a string of other health issues she needed assistance with. True to their name, they came to the rescue, and we are in the process of finding this cat her new permanent home with a family who will never abandon her. The Foundation fronted all related costs associated with her medical expenses--until finding her new home, we only donated the living space to keep her safe and the food (not a problem--we already have a cat).
Their adoption fees are typically $175, which means that with all the care that comes with that (rabies vaccine, all shots, microchipping, spay/neuter, deworming, flea/tick treatment, and a lot more I am forgetting), you are essentially saving a LOT of money by adopting. Retail, getting my other cat spayed was $800 alone. IYKYK. Adopt with them and save tons of money--and a life.”

The owner shared that the cake's decorations might not last very long, but I didn't have an issue with that since I kept it refrigerated! So if you don't plan on celebrating right away, make sure to keep the cake in the fridge. Thank you for helping us celebrate Bailey's first bday!”
