“I like the store a lot but I loved it more when they had VIP pet care. I realized they were just a tenant but it was such a huge value add for me. Nearly every time I brought my dog in I would always end up looking at toys and buying treats or something else. They really know their stuff when it comes to dog food and care a lot about the things you feed your dog”

“TC is the best there is! This is now the only place I will go for my dogs food and treats. I found this place by searching for healthy dog treats in Long Beach and snacks that would help her dental hygiene, breathe, and overall health without all the added ingredients in regular pet food stores. A lot of their treats are single ingredient only. My dog loves the beef trachea for cleaning her teeth, chiken strips, beef strips, salmon skin, and chiken necks. I have also just completed switched to the TC Raw food after 10 years of healthy, but store bought boxed, cooked dog food. Bill and Wendy are so friendly and knowledgeable, and I would highly highly recommend TC for your dog or cats supreme nutrition!”

“Love this little pet store which is owned by Long Beach residents, and they have rescue cats, a bunny, and sometimes guinea pigs to adopt! There's also a great groomer in the back! Bob and Ted the Owners are awesome, so skip the big stores and shop small!!”

“We got this cake for our sweet 12-year-old dog, and it was an absolute hit! From the moment we brought it out, she was excited, and she loved every single second of enjoying it. The cake looked adorable, was fresh, and clearly made with dogs in mind. Seeing her so happy on her special day made it worth every penny. At 12 years old, she deserves to be spoiled, and this cake helped make her birthday extra memorable. We will definitely be ordering again for future celebrations. Highly recommend for any pup's special day! 🐾🎂❤”

“I came here for a dog adoption event that was organized with Ozzie and Friends. They have a back room that they use for events like this. There is also a clinic in the back. And an area that is gated so that we could interact with the dogs and learn a bit more about their personality. Since they partnered with them, when I adopted my new puppy, they gave me a 10% coupon that I could use. So I got a new harness and some training treats for her. They were very helpful when I had questions about which training treats I should get. It been a while since I've had to train a puppy so it was nice to get some advice. There is also a dog washing station in the front. It was pretty crowded the whole time I was there.”

“Low cal food for an overweight doggo. Since starting with their human grade food he lost 10 lbs in first 3 months. Im so proud of him and the new energy sparked by him on walks. I buy venison with sweet potatoes, beef and rustic potatoes, and turkey, plus the pumpkin treats he just adores. It's a little pricey but using the renewed energy and weight loss it's worth every penny. The staff are both helpful and pleasant and will guide you big youre unsure of which foods to get”

“TLDR; Call them for all spay/neuter services and for local assistance with runaway/abandoned cats/adoptions. Someone in my apartment complex left their cat behind (which is illegal, but here we are) and we took it to the local Petco Thrive/ Lakewood to see if there was a microchip--no chip. Seeing that they had cats up for adoption, I asked about how we could get this little one adopted in their program. Come to find out, it's Pet Assistance Foundation of Long Beach who runs that. After contacting the group there, we were able to determine that this 8 month old cat was pregnant, had worms, and a string of other health issues she needed assistance with. True to their name, they came to the rescue, and we are in the process of finding this cat her new permanent home with a family who will never abandon her. The Foundation fronted all related costs associated with her medical expenses--until finding her new home, we only donated the living space to keep her safe and the food (not a problem--we already have a cat). Their adoption fees are typically $175, which means that with all the care that comes with that (rabies vaccine, all shots, microchipping, spay/neuter, deworming, flea/tick treatment, and a lot more I am forgetting), you are essentially saving a LOT of money by adopting. Retail, getting my other cat spayed was $800 alone. IYKYK. Adopt with them and save tons of money--and a life.”

“We’ve been bringing our dogs, Ollie and Baine, here for almost a year and have had such a great experience! The groomers do a great job with them, and Julie always remembers our dogs when we come in. One of our dogs has a gut disease that affects her strength and possibly makes it hard for her to stand for long periods, and Julie always remembers that and is mindful of it, which means a lot to us. They also have great availability and have been able to fit us in last minute, even before big holidays when grooming appointments are usually hard to get. Highly recommend! Pic is from today’s appointment- look how fluffy they are, with their nails trimmed and their cute bandanas!”
