“Aldi is one of my weekly rotation grocery stops, and being in the area for infrared sauna/ Himalayan salt lounge sessions, I needed a quick snack to satisfy my hunger.
This location has a similar layout to my home store in Cerritos, with most/all items available. Yet, it seems more sterile & bland, which could be just in my head. Like all Aldi stores, there never seems to be enough cashiers, as checkout lines accumulate customers with accompanying wait times. Here's hoping self checkout lines are implemented by Aldi.
I came in for a snack, and I purchased my snack. Aldi, the parent company of Trader Joe's, has great prices & easy to navigate stores. I much prefer shopping here, than someplace else, such as Albertson's or Vons. I'd visit again, if and when the opportunity presents itself.”

“Vera’s is a GREAT neighborhood market! So convenient to have nearby and their employees are so friendly !! I love taking my family to eat at their taco truck (MUST TRY) !! Their paletas from La Michoacana are my favorite item to grab! Love getting my meats here as they seem to be great quality and clean !!! I do not feel like they upcharge their groceries here very much even though they are a small market!”

“Yes, you’re gonna spend a little bit more but for many things the difference is well worth the money. Fantastic quality produce and probably the best market bakery around. Don’t sleep on the rotisserie chicken or pot pie - It’s a bargain for Marys chicken and you’ll realize how bad cheap commodity supermarket chickens are. Huge shout out to the bakery team consistently fantastic. That chocolate Texas cake and warm cookies are sublime.”
“This is a store that has everything ... except the kitchen sink. Most wonderful are the proprietors, Paline and Emily Soth. They are the most knowledgeable and helpful to all customers who enter the store. They aren't there to make a buck out of the community; they are an integral part of the community and see their repeat customers as part of their extended market family. Also, this place has the finest selection of beers and wines that can be found anywhere in Central Long Beach. If they don't have what you're looking for, they will get it for you and keep it available. A great place to grab your munchies and suds!”

“I love this market, it is my favorite market that I can find everything from A to Z.Everything you can imagine with the cheapest price besides honesty, good customer service and cleanliness of the place. This person called Moe in the market is the best customer service ever.”
“My favorite part is they carry vegan choices in the freezer section. Many choices from brand names and more all over their store. There is a great array of snacks, staples, wine, beer, and even some home goods. They carry almost anything from baking wear, kitchen utensils, seasonal decorations, pet items, and plants. People are pretty helpful and the store is clean.”
“This store is on my way home, so it’s very convenient for me to stop by whenever I need to pick up a missing ingredient for dinner after work. It’s always busy and often seems to be short on checkers, but I want to take a moment to give a special compliment to Calvin.
I met Calvin a few years ago, and let me tell you—he is friendly, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable. He always goes out of his way to help everyone, and his positive attitude truly makes a difference.
