“Pulled into Nevada County Fairgrounds in the higher than normal temps 100+ without a working air conditioner. Called Auburn RV Service Center and the great service started with Raye. He worked with me to get me in the que. He sent Cody up in the mobile unit. Wow! What a great technition he is! Our RV had an electrical issue which can prove to be time consuming and costly. Cody traced it down, repaired it, checked and double checked the system and did it all in a speedy 2.0 hours. He then proceeded to clean up and he even offered to vacuume. What a great guy!!! And he knows his stuff!
Thank you Cody and Raye. You guys are awesome!!!”
“Absolutely the best! I love these guys, they are more than fair. I'll never go to another propane distribution center. Sean is one of my favorite people. He's a truly caring person. Thanks Sean!!”
“This is a great place to get propane cans refilled. They are less expensive than the places where you exchange an empty for a full. Also, they will provide a more complete fill of the tank. They are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.”
“I smelled that awful smell so I called the office, it was a weekend so the office was closed. I received a call from the manager, Corey who was very responsive. We discovered that we were out of propane on a Saturday. A bit of confusion with scheduling in the office and Corey made it right. He came out on Sunday morning with enough propane to get us through the weekend (cold showers are no fun) and then called first thing Monday morning and by Tuesday the tanks are full again. Thank you Kamps Rocklin for making it right and getting our schedule fixed. We have a monitor that tells the office when we are low. We have a locked gate and dogs so the delivery needs to be scheduled in advance, different from years past. Overall great customer service and highly recommended.”
“I just updated this as I started with a 1 star review. I really think it's a huge diservice that Amerigas has resourced out their over the phone customer service, as I believe that the customer service experience has declined significantly compared to when they had staff answering phones at their Colfax location. That said, after several delays (and running out of propane due to errors by Amerigas) Brady Strong came out to fill our tank and he was terrific! Brady was very professional, kind/nice, humble, and clearly experienced. Brady restored my faith in Amerigas (though I hope to never have to call their customer service call center again). Thanks, Brady, for taking excellent care of us.”
“My parents had been Legacy customers for years, and they were so good to my mom after my dad passed away and mom was on her own and would constantly turn off the fireplace by accident... I've now taken over the home and need to refill the tank. I was nervous about Hunt having taken over Legacy because of some of the negative comments I read regarding Hunt... however, it all turned out great, they called me back within 24 hrs of leaving my message, had someone out exactly when they said they would, and their price per gallon was a little less then the competition. There's always some kinks to iron out whenever there's a big change, and buying out Legacy was a big change, but give them a chance... they did right by me for sure.”
“We’ve now stayed at this park twice. In May 2025, my wife played a soccer tournament at Cherry Island Soccer Complex, about 25 minutes from the park. We couldn’t see spending almost $400 for a hotel for two nights and Loomis Rv Park had much better reviews than any RV Park closer to the fields. We were not disappointed. It was quiet (it’s a couple of miles from the freeway), nice restrooms and showers, and just 5 minutes from several restaurants. It appears that most sites are occupied by long-stay guests, perhaps construction staff. There are a few sites that are perfect for our size rig and we had full hookups at site 3. We did hear the nearby train a few times overnight, but not too disturbing.
For our second stay we arrived late (around 7:20 pm) from our granddaughter’s tournament at Cherry Island and found that our reserved site 11 was already occupied. Although they were not supposed to be there, Mike, the manager, found that the occupants were not present at the time we arrived. Fortunately, he found us a suitable alternative one, site 40, that was perfect for our 21 ft camper van. With the delay in getting us a site and our dinner getting cold that we had picked up from nearby Buckhorn BBQ & Grille, we didn’t even bother to use the hookups. This site was even quieter that the one we had in May and, in fact, we never heard the train.
Even with the reserved site snafu, we would stay here again - it is clean, quiet, and the staff is friendly and helpful.”
