“I've been going to Laurel Cleaners for a few years, mostly for tailoring but also dry cleaning on occasion. They always do a wonderful job, especially on original hem for jeans. Today, though, I became a customer for life! The zipper on my daughter's Halloween costume broke while trying it on at 4pm on October 30. I panicked, and rushed it over to this shop. She took a look and told me she could fix the zipper before noon the next day! After being in panic mode, the service and accommodation was priceless for this mama... and she still only charged me $10 for the emergency fix. I can't say enough about how happy I am I knew to bring it here!! They are amazing.”

“I use Roy's every 3-4ish months to clean a set of wool dry clean shirts, have always been satisfied.
Recently used them to mend a torn wool jacket - a good 2 inch tear - the fix was well done and clean! It was a unclean tear, and thus a challenge, but Roy's was able to do a great job at fixing it up, as much as anyone could reasonably expect given the situation.

“Norge is the very best dry cleaner in the area. My family has come here for years because of their expertise, friendliness and consideration. They also use the highest quality chemicals in their cleaning, being very careful of our environment and our clothing. This is a family-owned small, local business that is in its second generation of ownership. Today I brought in a hat I’d ruined by hand-washing it and they tried to fix it but determined that the fabric had not been properly cured so would run even if dry cleaned. They very kindly tried to save the hat as I waited and would not let me pay them at all for their time. To me, Norge represents the neighborly kindness of Palo Alto that I remember from the 50’s and 60’s. Thank you Norge!!”
“We have used dry cleaning and laundry service at Santa Fe, New York City, Denver, and Steamboat Springs, CO and we find that the best is this Menlo shirt laundry. The shirts have been perfectly done each time as well as the dry cleaning. We have used them for 38 years and the result has been outstanding every time. “Personally, I have always liked to come wash this place but this day, 2/14/24 in the morning, the person who was serving looked at me strangely and then looked at my clothes as if he had no right to wash, I think he got upset because while I was watching TV he I asked to change a ticket, I felt like I was stealing my own clothes. I had never had this problem. The staff has always been kind to me. I hope they take my message into account.”

“Un muy Buen Lugar para lavar. ESTA siempre limpio por las personas que trabajan alli.TO THE OWNER: there is a restaurant next to your laundry. You shouldn't let this lady wash her dirty towels at this location because the greasy odor from the towels sticks to the dryers and when we take our clothes out of the dryers; they smell like kitchen towels. This odor won't go away even if we use drysheets.2nd: There is not a bathroom or a sink to wash our hands.3rd: some people use vinegar to do their laundry. It shouldn't be allowed because the odor sticks to the washers.4th. I have noticed that some washers and dryers were altered by someone. Let say that a wash cycle is suppose to last "30 minutes" I set the alarm for 30 minutes but I came back 15 minutes earlier and I noticed that the cycle was about to finish . I was like what the ... Is going on with this washer..5ft. There should be a phone number to contact the owner.”

To my amazement, the owner found it and promptly turned it into the nearest Chase Bank branch, knowing there's a chase credit card in the wallet. The bank staff reached out to me, ensuring the safe return of my wallet with all its contents intact. This act of honesty and integrity truly impressed me. “Haven't written a review in a while and decided my new dry cleaner was the best way to dabble back into Yelp. The son and his mom that own this place are great and super friendly. He always remembers my name and exactly what I brought in - he even remembered randomly that I didn't pick up a white shirt in over a month. It was there because he offered to try to clean it again after a hard stain wouldn't come out in the first go. Pricing is reasonable and I feel like the cleaning and service is a lot better than my last place. Parking is easy right next to the door and it feels safe and clean.”

“When I am in Sunnyvale for business, WashFoundry is where I go to do laundry. It is very clean and the use of DexterPay obviates the need to carry a lot of quarters. Finally, the availability of many washer sizes gives me the option of choosing the correct load size. Great place to do laundry. When the cycles are going, I slip into Safeway which is almost next door to pick up anything I need.”

“From 2016 to 2020, it was always Crown Cleaners where I dry cleaned my clothes and husband's clothes too. The owner Karen was knowledgeable and truthful when it came to advice on cleaning (or not cleaning) some of our more elaborate items, specifically our heavy beaded or embroidered suits from Punjab Pakistan and Delhi India, especially salvars, shervanis and lehengas. Our other more conventional office work shirts and pants were always perfectly cleaned, pressed, labeled, and double-labeled on the garment tags. I am confused by some of the negative reviews written on this Yelp page about Crown Cleaners, because all my dry cleaning tickets done year-round for four years from 2016 to 2020 were uniformly excellent. On several occasions, Karen even noticed and repaired missing buttons and liner holes in jackets, without my realizing, requesting or paying for the repairs. I only remember 100% professionalism from this establishment.”
