“Shear Therapy is a wonderful place to get your hair cut and colored! The salon is very cozy and comfortable. They always offer coffee, tea or water when I am getting my hair done. It's a nice place to relax during your appointment. I have been going to Elizabeth for the past few years and she has done a fabulous job with my hair color and cut. She is very friendly, easy to talk to and I completely trust her with my hair! She listens to my concerns always gives me her honest opinions. She runs on time and never has to cancel or change appointments! My daughter has gotten her hair cut and colored by her too. She was also very happy with the results! I would 100% recommend Liz for a hair cut and color. I was also a very lucky customer to win a Holiday raffle this past year! The basket was filled with so many amazing products for my hair and skin. I am looking forward to trying some new things and helping out my beauty regime! Thank you Stephanie for the amazing gift basket - I am very grateful!”

“From the outside this place looks super tiny. I was pleasantly surprised to find that was not even close to the case... Went for a walk to Bobbi's for breakfast with my man and we decided to walk a few extra steps into Yamagami's Garden Center. This place is H-U-G-E! They have an indoor area filled with indoor plants and fertilizers, macrame pot holders, watering cans, hand drawn cards, and such. You walk through the inside and are greeted by a friendly lady and a nice garden cat. Once through the building you enter a huge outside area located behind the shop filled with water fixtures, benches, trees, succulents, flowers, pots, and an information center. Inside the information center there is a nice person who can help you with answers to your most burning questions, such as, "What is the meaning of life?" (Well, okay, I'm kidding about that question), but I am sure they can help you with questions about plants. ;) If you are into gardening this is definitely a must check out location. Friendly staff, large selection, nice cat, reasonable prices, and locally owned and operated!”

“I have nothing but good things to say about Ladera's GG. Great selections of plants, flowers and gifts. TIP: You can have your plants or flowers wrapped by someone at the counter. The ladies are very helpful and great at wrapping your purchase. I am not a tipper but when I get things wrapped here, I tip the person.”

“Nice garden shop, you can tell they care. Many employees around asking if help is needed, also found some handy yard sticks placed throughout to the potting area to help make sure you're getting the right fit!”

“Still family run and the best producing garden plants. They only put things out when it’s time to plant and take better care of their plants than any other nurseries we go to on the peninsula.”

“This location has a nice selection of plants, I've gotten a philodendron congo from them that grew fine. I also got a fuzzy petiole philodendron from them a while back that was infested with thrips. I brought it home and after a few days you could see all of them crawling over the leaves. I'm glad I quarantined it! After a month of fighting the thrips to no avail, I returned the plant. I'm glad they have a lifetime return policy, but make sure you check the plants carefully (or quarantine them!) before you bring any home.”

“Don’t let the location fool you. These guys know small motor equipment. They had the parts that I needed to repair my wood chipper. I had a good discussion about the design and issues with my model with the salesman. I’ve been here before and I’ll definitely come back in the future.”

“I've never ordered orchids online before, but I live in a place where we can't get good orchids. Brookside Orchids did such an amazing job, that I won't hesitate to order from them again. The orchids were amazingly well packed, so carefully wrapped, and in beautiful condition when they arrived several days later. These are healthy, large orchids, that bloomed within days/weeks of arrival and have continued to bloom for months. Just gorgeous, and so vigorous! Thank you!”

“Transported to a new realm, breathing fresh air and viewing a vibrant fortress of solitude, overgrowing with a living, photosynthesizing, masterpiece. The florist seemed to take true care of the plants, broadcasting a sense of ownership over the wellbeing of the ecosystem. Transformative experience, a time tested cornerstone of branching off onto your own journey of learning to care for something other than yourself. There is also a convenience store attached which seems to be under the same ownership which seems interesting. Like why would you connect these two businesses if one was not more or less a hobby disguised as a job?Big chess move.”

“I want to give a massive thanks to Andrew in the plumbing department for stepping forward and helping me out with cutting some pipe I had bought at this location. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.Other than Andrew, my experience with this location was very poor. I called ahead of time to ask if there was someone working today who knew how to operate the pipe cutter. The employee had the worst attitude and knew nothing about the store or what products were available. He sounded incredibly bored and gave me more dramatic sighs than actual answers. When I arrived and was asking around for help, the employees were extremely unprofessional and dismissive. There were a couple huddled around making jokes about their genitals and acted as if I was interrupting when I asked for help. Nobody even knew the location had a pipe cutter. Fortunately Andrew walked by right at that moment to help another customer and I was able to ask him for help.”

“They were cool about giving me or selling me samples for a backyard paver project. There is a small wait for help at the counter but otherwise it's a low pressure show room. I recommend them to anyone that is about to start a landscaping project.”

“Been coming here for years. Service used to be horrible but it's definitely improved over the years. A little shortness doesn't bother me anyway. It's a hardware store, not Saks...Wish they had a better selection of plants but it's still serviceable.”

“Just visited the Home Depot in Cupertino. I couldn't find a particular item - it wasn't where the app says it would. The associate found it for me quickly, and even later did my self-checkout for me (I didn't ask - she just did it!)”
