“I would like to thank Greg and his team at Los Altos Gas Auto Care on El Camino for helping my mom and I on two different occasions. The first time, my mom’s friend’s car rear taillight went out, I looked for a shop nearby and it showed this one right across the street from her home. We dropped by hoping we could fix it the same day and Greg was able to care of it within 15 minutes and we were on our way.The second time was just recently when I tried to turn my car on and it would just shut off on me. Due to personal health issues I haven’t driven my car in a very long time and knowing that the shop that I usually take my car to is too far from here caused me enormous amount of stress. I thought about this shop immediately but I was almost 100% sure that they would turn me away because not everyone agrees to work on this specific make. I decided to try my luck anyway and to my surprise they agreed to do a diagnostic and oil change. I scheduled an appointment the following day, my car was ready within a couple of hours with no issues whatsoever.One very important thing I want to point out:As a woman, I greatly appreciate and respect them for their honesty and not taking advantage me as many shops usually try to do. I would have paid any price to fix my car at this point but I have never seen service prices like the ones here. I almost feel guilty and undercharged, in my opinion, I should have paid double the amount for their service and care. Nevertheless, my car feels great, drives very smoothly with no issues. I am looking forward to coming back to get my brakes replaced soon. Highly recommend!”

“Im gonna start off this review by saying that I went to 3 DIFFERENT places, they were all “skips tire and automotive” and all three of those businesses were absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had in customer service. The counter employees were so rude, they wouldn’t help with any of my immediate problems. They just wanted me to reschedule and they would answer then. So finally I leave and as I’m driving home I see this drive thru spot that’s completely empty. So I pull up and immediately the gentleman asked “what he could do for me today” then proceeded to ask if I’d like a soda or beverage while I wait in my car(that was an amazing touch btw) then proceeded to tell me information about my oil/car I was not aware of! Just genuinely letting me know the issues and concerns I might have to deal with in the future. No up-selling, no B.S, just genuine customer CARE! I recommend this place to anyone who cares about customer service and getting your car done in a timely fashion! 10/10”

“I took my car in for an oil change and transmission flush - and saw that the front wheel fork was in bad shape when they hoisted the car up.Al gave me a very fair estimate for the car, and a loaner for the duration of the repair.
Then, while putting the parts in, they noticed that two of the bolts were stripped, and they had to order new bolts from Mercedes. This took an additional 2 days, and added only around 80$ to the repair. Al let me keep the loaner car till my repairs were done!
I know from experience that nobody else would keep a car back for 2 days for an extra 80$ in repairs - these are some of the most professional people I have seen. I will definitely be bringing my car here again.”

Recently brought in my 05 Acura RL (200k miles)… For diagnostic of a potential cooling system issue and general inspection. Upon talking with Erik at first arrival, He was very polite and knowledgeable & listened to my concerns with the vehicle. Erik/team did a very thorough inspection and concluded that one of my fans was not working. Was very pleased with the overall experience, their inspection report and the included detail !
Was notified via text and phone call of the findings in a detailed report that I could also (Pay for the service through the invoice!!) - Was very Convenient for me.
Overall recommend their services!! He mentioned he has a strong backgrounded BMW As well - Will be taking mine as needed!”

“A refreshing change from dealers' shops and other shops which pile on random charges and services. Here they solve the problem quickly and efficiently. Plus the shop employees listen to your description of the problem and even take into account diagnostic steps you may have taken to narrow the problem down. When I brought my car in we were even able to spend a few minutes going over the symptoms and discuss the plan. Peter and crew are a great team!”

“Super easy to schedule an appointment. Very friendly and informative. Ross helped me understand the maintenance jobs that my car needed and worked with me to get the necessary repairs done for my car. The multi point inspection report was extremely helpful. Pricing was alright, pretty similar to other places. I had already tried finding “cheaper” locations but you don’t get the same service quality at Stress Free Auto. They also helped me with transportation to my work after I dropped my car off! I will be going back for my other services.”

“I had a bad experience a few years back with an employee who lied to me so after decades, I went elsewhere for my oil changes. After being less than happy with the new places, I decided to give Speedee a try again. This was my second time “back” and I can say I feel confident again in the honesty of the owners. I knew I wouldn’t need an oil or air filter no one tried to sell me those things which some establishments would have done. Also the person who checked me out, found a coupon for me which gave me $15 off. Too many car repair establishments see a woman as an opportunity to make some extra money so it’s good to feel you can trust one.”
“Best Shop by far! They will explain everything to you so that you understand what's happening with your car. If they can not fix it they'll tell you that upfront. They want the best for their customers and it shows. They also run a tight schedule so I love that .”

Over the weekend my low tire pressure light went off while driving on the freeway. I couldn’t tell what may have been the issue since none of them looked flat or low.
I had stopped by Dastgah Tire Pros & Service after work and I was quickly assisted. The team had inspected the tire I assumed was the issue although they further assessed all four.
Turns out I had two nails in the back; one on each side & the two in the front had 100miles left of life ?
What seemed tragic was actually a good opportunity to get a brand new set of tires. I lucked out by getting a set of my preferred brand for my civic & the team was able to install all 4 tires before closing!!”
“Took my car in for a smog test and was in and out in about 20 minutes. The service advisor was very good and efficient. If you are planning to use a Groupon, make sure you make an appointment AND mention you have an appointment when you arrive, otherwise that can cause some confusion due to their system. Overall, great experience with Cosmic and I have already recommended this shop to my friends who need a smog test.”
“Despite my considerable efforts to find a reasonably priced, ethical and knowledgeable mechanic in my area (Santa Cruz county) I came up short. After experiencing several considerable top-notch repair jobs at high tech automotive, I consider it no inconvenience at all to take my car there exclusively. “Salvador Was superb!! Got a leaking tire. No appointment and just immediately helped me after I arrived. Quickly identified where the leakage was and got it plugged! No bullshit. No scams. In and out 10 minutes. $20. I was stunned!They even open 7x7x7 7 am to 7 pm 7 days a week. It is hard not to appreciate their hard work! You would expect any chain tire shops would try to sell you new tires. This shop is highly recommended.”

“I would like to heartily thank the two mechanics (I'm so sorry not to have gotten their names!) who were so gracious in helping me out of a bind. I was in Palo Alto for a week, fully booked with appointments, and some plastic piece fell off my front grill, twice, dragging itself on the ground. The hotel guys tried to fix it, but it didn't hold. It was late in the day, yet AAA Mountain View put my car up on the next available bay, gave the piece a more secure, temporary fix, and I was able to safely drive home to Walnut Creek. And not only that, they refused any charge. So thank you Guys, I really appreciated it!”

it! After making an appointment with Patrick he helped me today. He was very informative, helpful, and friendly and told me what time to expect the alignment would be done. He was honest describing that there is only one mechanic on Tuesdays so it would take longer than usual. He called me sooner than expected to say the work was done. He thoroughly explained the sheet detailing each tire as to what it was originally and what it is after the work was done and showed me that each was in the acceptable range.
