Tony, What an energetic person he is! Extremely calm, patient, and deeply attentive with customers. I have never experienced this type of outstanding service before—he handles the entire business so smoothly, almost single-handedly. USPS truly needs more people like him to achieve even greater milestones.

I’m writing to specifically commend Clerk 6 at the Los Altos Post Office in Loyola Corners. We arrived as a walk-in with our one-month-old baby to apply for his passport. Even though we were walk-ins, Clerk 6 had the humanity to recognize that we were there with an infant and worked smartly and efficiently to make sure we were not endlessly waiting for other people with appointments to finish before us.
After reviewing our paperwork, Clerk 6 quickly realized that the photo we brought might not meet U.S. State Department specifications and could be rejected — an insight we greatly appreciated. He immediately coordinated with his colleague to have our child’s photo retaken on the spot. Despite other customers with appointments in line, he managed to complete our application in under 15 minutes.
This was the polar opposite of our experience the previous day at the Sunnyvale Post Office, where they made us wait nearly three hours with our one-month-old, treated us rudely and dismissively, and ultimately failed to process our application.

Another fan of Tony, here! I agree that he is the GOAT of post office workers. Always smiling, cheerful, willing to help, offering solutions... It's a joy to go to the post office when he is there. And I tell him every time! I actually come to this location just for him.
But today he wasn't there :(. Instead there was a younger woman who was anything but friendly. Between her accent and her mask, it was hard to understand her. She was transactional with a touch of rudeness. If you need help, she's not the lady for you!
So 5 stars for Tony, 1 star for the new lady. I hope Tony hasn't moved or retired!

Tony was amazing. Warm, pleasant and efficient. Went for passport services. Probably one of the best experiences at usps. I agree with another comment that Tony is the GOAT of post office workers.

They had no international customs forms and refused to send my package. Told me go to Mountain View. So I did, and they wouldn’t send it either. Thank you USPS in…. HAYWARD… for actually providing this service. What is going on around here?

Tony is the undisputed goat of Post Office workers.
I want to go back just to vibe off of his energy.

Came here 2:30pm on a Friday. Went to get my passport mailed out and Tony was the nicest guy ever. He was cheery, helped me get all my docs together, and he processed me out in a few moments.

I went to this post office yesterday, April 15, tax day, and it was a disaster. I was truly shocked. At 9 a.m. upon opening they had one person at the counter and a line of about 15 people trying to mail their tax returns and do other postal business (though I cannot understand why anyone would go to a U.S. Post Office on tax day for any purpose other than to mail a return unless they have absolutely no choice). Normally, I never wait until the final day to file. This year, my timing was less fortuitous. The single clerk was working as fast as she could, but she was only processing about eight people an hour. Everyone was sending everything certified mail with return receipt. It can take several minutes to process one letter. It was utterly crazy, and the postal staff was running around accomplishing nothing to reduce the wait and in fact was giving the single clerk MORE WORK including the woman processing the passports who never acknowledged the enormous line of people waiting for service. I was dumbfounded. The pressure on that clerk was tangible and nearly unbearable and totally unfair. I don't know what happened as the day went on. Thank heavens I was there by 8:45 am before the office even opened with about 10 people in front of me. I left shortly after 10 a.m. and the line was 30 people or more. At the rate the one clerk was moving, the last person in line had about a three-hour wait in front of them, at least, assuming the clerk was superhuman. I truly support the U.S. Postal Service. It's a democratizing force in our society, and it has been for many years. Everyone, no matter his, her or their economic circumstances, should be able to send a letter home to say hello or ask for help. The performance by the branch manager, who never appeared and who never acknowledged what was happening and what role he or she or they might have played in the debacle, is a question for our congressperson and senator. This is a very important local post office for the residents of our little town. It needs to function way better than it has of late.

No issues coming here. The guy up front was happy and enthusiastic spreading positive vibes. I forget his name but he made you feel welcomed. I understand the Asian lady looks tired and weary and probably can be rude at times but I had no issues with her. Passport services were quick and easy and they only process new passports via appointments only. If you’re renewing just mail in your application and have them send it off.

No automated postage machine, this is the fourth post office I've driven to this evening trying to mail a package.

Love it. Never waiting in line like in horrible mtn view location, where people are like fish in a can. Here is a great place!
