I’ve never left an Apple Store unhappy. I’m an easy customer, kind, respectful & mostly positive. Today is that day. Thanks to Austin who had made me feel incompetent & stupid. Why are u trying to lock me in that store for hours like i have nothing else to do. Did u not have hundreds of customers to transfer data to their new phones. I did not spend a $1000 in that store to be dismissed by you & make me feel stupid with your answers to my questions:
Q im sure i can just do this at home & not wait an hour
A it’s less than an hour now…. 57 minutes…
Really?! What kind of answer is that coming from an Apple employee…
I always like my intelligent conversations with the Apple team..
But I’m pretty sure I can just go home & leave these two phones while I do something else at home. I can’t be just staring at nothing here
A: No you have to stay here & wait
This guy thinks I’m 5…
I’m out of here. I’ll just buy any case & leave
A: I’ll just finish this & help u
Bro, you can ask help from your other teammates
I proceeded to another teammate & said can I just buy any colour iPhone case from you & leave. He said sure. Got me the case in 2 mins.
Sorry one last thing, pls make sure I have an apple care on my new phone. Done in 2 mins.
I made the transfer at home. It took 2 hrs but I was able to leave the phones & eat out.
I’m very disappointed at this Apple Store today. My experience has always been above & beyond. Thank you Austin for treating me like I’m a dumb customer.

Today I wanted to exchange my iPhone 17 pro for a iPhone Air. One of the employees didn't seem that friendly with the process. Normally with the exchange you pay the difference of whatever phone you wanna exchange for and then transfer all your data and your number before they erase the phone. Instead of doing a simple thing as putting money on a gift card to pay for it, he proceeds to activate the iPhone Air without opening the box. So now this is where it got confusing, I have to pay the full amount? That's not what I wanted? I can't afford to buy another phone when all I asked was for a simple exchange. Now that he activated the unbought phone the iPhone 17 pro went to SOS which made the phone useless. The Iphone 17 Pro was returned and the guy said he would be back to help me. Five minutes go by and now he's going home when I needed help. What? The refund doesn't come in for another I don't know how many days... so now I'm phoneless which is a pain because I have to reach people in a world that relies on having a phone. I'm not from here and getting home was a nightmare without having any type of device. I'LL REPEAT IT AGAIN ALL I WANTED WAS A SIMPLE EXCHANGE and now I have nothing.. this was a pain.. I'm extremely disappointed with how I was treated.

I have been to the Apple Store in Topanga four times for the same problem, and nothing has been fixed. My iPhone keeps shutting down randomly, during calls, Zoom meetings, and even while driving using Maps. It’s dangerous, stressful, and completely unacceptable. Every time, they “restore” my phone, erase all my data, and claim it’s only a software issue. That is absolutely not true. The issue keeps happening, and no one takes real responsibility for it.
The customer service team has no real knowledge. They all repeat the same script over and over again, the same words, the same actions, without actually understanding or solving the problem. None of them truly listen or care. They waste your time, act robotic, and just send you away instead of helping you. It feels like they are trained only to repeat memorized lines rather than diagnose real issues.
Yesterday, my phone shut down in the middle of the street, and my Tesla key stopped working because it’s connected to my phone. I was completely stuck and helpless. I can’t access my school accounts or verification codes, and I can’t even submit my assignments because my phone keeps turning off.
Today is my birthday, and instead of celebrating, I’m spending the day trying to fix my phone again because I can’t go anywhere or do anything while it keeps shutting down. It’s extremely disappointing that a company like Apple allows this level of unprofessional and careless service.
This iPhone clearly has a hardware or chip defect, and I do not want this device anymore. I’m requesting a full replacement with a new, properly functioning phone as soon as possible. Apple must take accountability for selling a defective product and for providing such poor customer service at the Topanga location. After months of frustration and wasted time, I truly hope someone at Apple will finally take this matter seriously and do the right thing.

I was just sold a 60w charging cable for a 16in MacBook Pro that needs a 96w or better. I should be able to trust the employees to give me the correct cable not waste my time and money.

I got a new iPhone here the other day and the whole process was super easy. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and they made sure I had everything I needed before I left. Such a smooth and pleasant experience from start to finish.

I usually buy my apple items from this apple store. The staff is always eager to help and give information on various products. The genius bar is even better. Recently they started hiring disabled people which i think is incredible. Dont even think twice if you wanna shop here. The store to go.
