If I could I'd give 0 stars. We reserved a car online and when we arrived at spot to pick up the car they had none available. The staff seemed very uninterested in solving our problem and were rather hoping of getting rid of us. It took some time to convince them to contact the customer service (since we have no American phone) and we ourself ended up being on the phone with several different customer services that weren't able to give proper alternatives or just make sure we get what we ordered. Eventually we wasted a lot of time and energy during our short stay to eventually have nothing. We went to sixt in the end, paid a lot more but at least got a car.

Absolutely shocking service. I hired a car for 3 and a half months and spent $4500 with this company and then they hit me up for $450 for a small stain. The guy that services the car is an absolute a..hole. The lady on the front desk told me I could go back and get the car and have it cleaned myself but he was like. "No I already started." Because the contract hadn't been closed I should have been able to get it cleaned elsewhere. His attitude was just wrong from the start. This company does not know how to treat people. Even though they are cheaper they hit you up for extra fees which is deceitful.

Check24.de advertised 8 seats. Instead of a Ford Expedition we received a Mitsubishi Outlander. Budget employees claimed they don't even have cars with 8 seats.

I reserved a car online. The next day I received a call stating that there were no cars available and I was given a number to call to transfer my reservation to a different location. I went to that location and I was told that my reservation was at a different location. I arrived at the 3rd location and was told that there were no cars available even though there were 15 cars in their lot. I had to spend $30-40 in ubers traveling between these locations and could not get a car. Terrible service. NEVER use Budget or Avis

Absolutely the WORST car rental place I have ever been to!! Booked through Travelocity, received a booking confirmation and so paid to get an uber down to pickup the vehicle, only to be told that they didn't actually have any of that vehicle type left. When questioning why we received a confirmation for a vehicle they don't have, they simply told us it was bad luck, because we booked through a third party... I'm sorry, if youre going to make bookings available through a third party, make sure it works properly with your systems then. We were then told that all that was available was an SUV, but they couldn't price match our original booking price or even give us any kind of discount. We then got told the manager was not there, and he had to be called to come down. We then agreed to a price that was a little more than our original booking, but we were happy enough with that.After going through everything, because we wanted to use a travel money card, they claimed they were not able to use it for the deposit or payment because it didn't have an actual name on it... a completely irrelevant point, because we were able to use it for deposits for the car we ended up getting, and for the hotels we've been booking... they were purely just being rude and arrogant!From the minute we walked in the door the staff were rude and unhelpful, and didn't offer any possible alternatives other than bad luck.At the same time we were there, there were also 2 other customers who also seemed to be having massive dramas with them and getting the same response.I would absolutely NEVER BOOK WITH THIS BUDGET LOCATION... or budget in general after this experience!!!!!

So Bad. I rent a car on Uber and it says I need to go to this place to pick up the car. But the company says they don’t do business with Uber.

Worst budget location ever. There was no car left at the downtown location ( the original location we booked the car month ahead) when we get there on time at 9 am in the morning. Trip plan was extremely messed up since we were planning to drive all the way from LA to San Fran with three large suitcases. No people helped us to arrange for alternative car at that LA downtown location and they are not even feel sorry. We phoned other location and finally found a car at the airport after 2 hours. Budget charged us twice and with higher cost even after confirming with customer service that original price should be kept. Have not refund us the second charge until today!!! super disappointed.

Take the other reviews seriously and avoid this location (and Budget) at all costs - Would give this place negative stars if I could! Prepaid our booking weeks advance as we needed a location open on Sunday. Received numerous emails and texts confirming our reservation and pick up time, only to be told via a voicemail at 3pm the day before that this location was now closed on Sundays.There was no help from them to change the reservation, instead it was made to sound like it was our fault. Called customer service to modify the reservation and had to pay a higher rate and additional fees to pick up the car from LAX (we had no other choice).Will never do business with Budget ever again, they have absolutely no regard for the inconvenience they cause their customers.

WATCH OUT FOR SCAMS! What a disgraceful process I had to go trough with this location and overall with Budget. I payed online in advance including damages waiver. When I rented they asked if I wanted more insurances which I declined and got a receipt saying I declined which was fine since I had accepted one already. Then when I returned the car they deceitfully changed the receipt and added the other insurances. Now I'm obviously being charged and the initial receipt they kept it so they defend themselves stating "I signed it". Just a terrible way of treating customers and overall sneaking extra charges.

Extremely disappointed! Before making the reservation I called to make sure they would have an available car for me and they said YES!. Called in the afternoon to make sure it was all settled for the next day, they said YES! Went the next day to pick up my rental, THEY DIDNT HAVE CARS! I had to go to another rental car and they gave me a car in less than 10 minutes!I WILL NEVER USE THIS CAR (inexistent) RENTAL COMPANY

The sorta scam the ppl who rent from 3rd party website if you don't pick up the vehicle at specified times... They say there's nothing the can do to the person reservation to so that you re-book threw there system....( They let the 3rd party website drive the clients in to them then get/make customers to re-book threw there system...CREEP

Low inventory, awful customer service. The guy at the front desk was unwelcoming and borderline rude. Just go elsewhere or risk making a reservation with a place that will not have a car for you when you get there.
