The El Rey Theatre is an original art deco theater and a registered Historic-Cultural Monument, offering a cool, classic vibe. The venue is clean and well-maintained, with a great sound system and amazing sound quality. Many find it a great venue for a concert and have a great experience. Staff and security are wonderful, welcoming, and clean cut. Parking is very close, easy, and makes the whole experience better. Some notes for improvement include that the drinks are overpriced and can use more creative selections, and the men's restroom has very limited stalls. However, shows are incredible and worth every penny, making it easy to recommend.
Really enjoy the vibe of this venue. Watched a concert here and could see the stage well from almost anywhere.

4 stars, saw Cosmo Sheldrake here. Security & staff are great very welcoming. El Rey is great for sound quality. Parking is very close as well. There’s 1 stall in the men’s wash room so it’s not ideal but that’s all they need to improve on.
