“Since my student health center at my college was not available, I looked for an urgent care nearby. I did a quick search via Yelp and read the reviews for Vermont Urgent Care & Multi Specialty Center and decided to visit their website to schedule an appointment to be seen that day. The website is easy to navigate and I was able to schedule an appointment within the hour! I called to check what the cost of the initial consultation would be and it was very competitive compared to other urgent cares. I loved how the location was easily accessible via public transportation as I can't even imagine parking in K-Town, lol.Upon arrival I let the receptionist know I was there for my appointment and she gave me a few short forms to fill out. I was paying out of pocket and she let me know the consultation cost and I confirmed I wanted to continue. I was brought back promptly by the nurse who took my vitals. Not more than two minutes later the Dr came in and did my assessment and was able to prescribe the medicine to be picked up at the receptionist desk. I appreciated the Dr's kind. bedside manner and I did not feel rushed.Upon checking out my total was under $100 and I was quite grateful.If I ever need another urgent care visit, I will come back to this clinic!”
“Amazing office staff, best doctor ever ! Beyond professional. Doctor takes time to discuss with you. Listens well, did all the proper lab tests, didn’t overdue anything that was not needed, super honest and caring , very smart and creative and I feel so much better after so many years ! I wish I had gone to him years ago!”

It would be considerate for patients. Today, 2/24/2026, we stood in line 10 minutes before being serviced or acknowledged.
Other than that, I would recommend this facility.”

I asked how much longer the wait was going to be after waiting 30 mins in the waiting room and I got no attitude from the front desk staff (other places would have been rude) we were seen and discharged in an hour. “I have been with Via care East Los Angeles since 2016 and have received quality , professional and courteous service. I do however want to recognize a specific person who definitely stands out. her name is Rebecca and she is currently located at the 280 S Atlantic Blvd. site. She is my Medical case worker. Ms. Rebecca and have gotten to know each other very well as she has been in my life professional for almost 2 years. When I need a medically related service she is always attentive and responsive with solutions and a positive and professional response. Ms. Rebecca was very helpful during my past experience of being homeless and living between shelters and the streets, providing me with food items which were non perishable, gift cards to purchase personal needs and hygiene kits. THANK YOU MS. REBECCA for continuously treating me with care, kindness and support. I am eternally grateful. I no longer live I the streets and have a place to call home .Ms. Rebecca continues to be supportive in the form of transportation assistance to my doctor appts, assistance with making my dr. appts, and researching additional services I need when given referrals for specialty care. Finally i truly appreciate her follow ups and concerns when I am not feeling well. Through all my hospitalizations, covid and surgeries she took the time to check in on me. “My PCP is great and so involved with my
issues that are complicated. My problem is the secruity guard that passes out parking tickets. It general he’s a nice man yet like many workers I’ve met, he doesn’t
know his role and is constantly conversing with patients. He has been transferred from Hollywood AHF, and once got in my way by asking questions. Due to that in incident I lost my phone in a Uber, I saw it and had just enough time to stop the driver, but the 10 seconds he was in the way I lost my chance that I could have just had about 10-15 secs. He once years ago was asking my mother about her finances , he noticed her Maserati, she left to wait in the car. Then he kept talking to me, “how did she become rich?? I want to be rich” blah blah, extremely inappropriate language at the least. I don’t want him fired just needs to stop socializing with patients constantly. Please let him know that it’s annoying especially when you feel awful. -Carolyn Noel Swenson”

“I had such a great experience with Dr. Pakour and the entire team. Everyone was so kind, gentle, and attentive. Maria, the nurse, was especially caring; she really listened to my questions and made sure I felt completely comfortable throughout my visit. There is also a new lady who has been there for about three weeks; I forgot her name, but she was incredibly lively and sweet the entire time, which made the atmosphere even more welcoming. You can tell everyone there genuinely cares about their patients. I felt safe, heard, and truly welcomed from start to finish. Highly recommend!”
