Hollywood Improv is a legendary comedy club known for delivering great shows with A-list comedy. The intimate stage room provides a classic setting for live comedy. The food is okay, described as bar food, but the menu is considered much better than some other comedy places. Drinks are good, with strong cocktails, though some note a poor non-alcoholic menu and a preference for Coke over Pepsi. There is a two-drink minimum in addition to the ticket price. Guests should arrive at least 30 minutes before the show for the best seating options. Seats can be squished together, and some seating rows lack tables for drinks and food, which can be awkward. A key policy requires placing cell phones in secure pouches to prevent recording, which some find inconvenient. While the phone policy is no big deal for many, others find the constant activity of waiters walking and serving during the show to be more distracting. Overall, it is a cool place, worth going to for a great laugh, and special guests are always a nice surprise.
Always a great venue! Kym Whitley and Caroline Rhea are the dynamic duo!

Looking for a great night out in LA that won’t break the bank? We got to see Jason Ellis, and it was such a great show that we caught another next door. Food and drinks were very reasonably priced and served quickly. Each set had the crowd in stitches 10/10 would do again.

Always a great show, get there at least 30 minutes before show for best seating options. They now require you to place cell phones in secure pouches they hand out. They are trying to stop people from recording the show. No big deal, just be aware.
