I didn’t buy anything from her (yet) but giving 5 stars because the owner is one of the nicest guy I’ve ever met. A truly great storyteller. Authentic. And knows what he’s talking about.

Got an old vintage Zenith record player and speaker set repaired here and everything works great and i’m very pleased with the service they did on my setup. Stephon is a really nice guy and I appreciate not only the craftsmanship he provided on my machine but his insight and personal views on the music industry as whole was something he gave as well and it’s really not something you get from businesses nowadays but I really enjoyed hearing from him!

My vintage equipment sounds incredible thanks to this place! Prices are reasonable and turnaround time is great for the work he’s doing to restore these items

I always get my home and office hifi stuff repaired here and Stephon and his team are solid. I've taken my gear to other places but Solutions is the only place that can fix complex issues. It's not your run of the mill repair shops, which is probably why all the other ones went out of business. I host a lot of events I'm constantly blowing out my speakers and burning out motherboards. Parking is easy here, cafe next door where you can wait. It's covid friendly as you don't need to enter into the store itself anymore. Stop on by grab a mcdonalds or dinosaur coffee for a drink while you wait!

I'm leaving this review so that people are aware of Stephen's repair policy, which is this: repair first, give a final quote second. *This is not a knock on the quality of the repair that Solutions! provides, as they did good work on my turntable. The $35 bench/assessment fee (very reasonable) did not include a follow up call to let me know what actually needed to be repaired on my turntable and how much it would cost. I brought my Dual player in because I thought there was a simple electrical issue. When I arrived on pickup day, i learned that multiple issues had been discovered and repaired without my consultation (RCA caps replaced, deoxidizing contact points, belt replaced, etc). When I asked Stephen to elaborate on his policy (and my now $237 bill), he offered to reverse everything for the initial price of $35 (which is, of course, unfair to the technicians who put in the hours on my device). So, just be aware that you will not be consulted before repairs are done on your items.

Excellent work, very knowledgeable people, they fixed some very old and tricky gear for me. They walked me all the way through it to make sure I understood everything and their price was very reasonable. Highly recommended. Stephon is great and one of a kind.

Honestly, the worst. I took my powered speakers in because I thought only one of them was working. As others have said, the guy waxed poetic about how “music was made wrong,” said some weird stuff about alcoholism that I found sort of offensive, and declared he could definitely fix the problem and for another $100, he could “fix all the music” which seemed pretty bogus but okay, no thanks. He called me a week later to say the problem was “fixed” and told me some line about oxidation. I took the speakers home and the problem wasn’t fixed at all. They say they have a 30 day return policy, so I took the speakers back in and insisted that he let me test them in the store to make sure they work. He initially tries to say no but eventually agrees. Lo and behold, the speakers work. Okay, so, what’s the problem? “The line input to your turntable must be broken on one side” he said. But if that was the problem the whole time, what did I pay this guy to fix? I asked him if I might get either a more detailed description of the work he did or a partial refund and he yelled at me about “all the work he did” (nothing more specific than that) until I felt physically uncomfortable and just left. Would 0/10 not recommend and will never go back there.

Solutions electronics are only good for repairing small electrical items.. stereo perhaps speakers and turntables.. I bought a hard drive professional digital Roland 2480 recorder, which is not on the market.. I was told by the owner Stefan "absolutely yes we can repair it anything can be repaired!" So I bought the my recorder over to his shop waited waited 2 months before I got an answer, took the machine home started it up it played fine the first day shut it down put it up again didn't play at all.. so to make a long story short, don't bring any equipment in there that's hard drive recorders or anything to do with computer electronics they don't know how to fix that.. stick to the small stuff that's what they're good for..

I had a Teac reel to reel tape player that I took in to Solutions to see if they could get to up and running. Since reel to reel tape decks have not been produced for consumer use for some time, I knew the parts would be hard to find if needed, but I was optimistic. One of the guys wrote me a ticket and gave me a couple of days to check back with him. I left it for a week, and when I called in to check the status, I was told what the issue was and that they put out a search for the part needed. To make a long story short, I waited six months and still no progress (I had to keep calling them), and every time I called, I was told we're still looking. Here it is three years later, and they still have my deck. Since I have taken the position that I will never hear from them after this amount of time, I have come to the conclusion that they will keep MY deck to salvage for parts on other decks that come in. That's just MY experience.

I brought in a Casio CZ-5000 synth for repair a couple of months ago. It had some distortion in the output signal as well as a memory slot pin that needed repairing. My initial conversation with the owner after he took a look at the synth was bizarre, leaning toward offensive, but he guaranteed that he would be able to fix the synth.I hear back from him saying that the synth was fixed. I wanted to be able to hear it in its repaired state before taking it home just to make sure it was all cool, so that if there were any issues I would know that it was on my end and not his. Seems standard to examine the repair job before taking an instrument home (like any guitar setup or amp repair experience) but he was completely opposed to the idea for "Covid safety" reasons. Sorry, but if both parties are masked/vaccinated/in an open space with ventilation, there is no reason that this would not be possible. I was annoyed because he offered no solution to my reasonable request to hear what the synth sounded like post repair. So I bring it home, and behold, the synth is still as distorted as before. He did manage to make a new pin for the memory card, to his credit. However he then told me to order a Japanese voltage converter (which was $40) that did nothing to solve the issue.I would not recommend this place. Weird customer service, dude only wants to wax poetic about sound and music and will avoid your direct questions. Go somewhere else.
