Solutions! has been a trusted audio/visual service center in Los Angeles since 1939, renowned for its expertise in repairing equipment for celebrities, musicians, and everyday consumers. The business is the official service center for several prominent brands, including JBL, Yamaha, and Marshall. Customers appreciate the skilled craftsmanship and knowledge provided by the staff, particularly Stephon, who is often noted for his friendly demeanor and insightful conversations about the music industry. Reviews highlight the excellent quality of work and reasonable prices, with many praising the successful restoration of vintage audio equipment. Turnaround times are typically quick, making it a convenient choice for those needing urgent repairs. The facility is also noted for its accessibility, with easy parking and nearby cafes for waiting customers. However, some clients have raised concerns about the repair policy, which involves completing repairs before providing a final quote. While the service quality is often commended, this practice has led to unexpected bills in some cases. Overall, Solutions! is recognized for its solid reputation and ability to handle complex repairs that other shops cannot, making it a preferred choice for audio enthusiasts.
I didn’t buy anything from her (yet) but giving 5 stars because the owner is one of the nicest guy I’ve ever met. A truly great storyteller. Authentic. And knows what he’s talking about.

Excellent work, very knowledgeable people, they fixed some very old and tricky gear for me. They walked me all the way through it to make sure I understood everything and their price was very reasonable. Highly recommended. Stephon is great and one of a kind.
Solutions! electronics shops sells and repairs audio equipment, and has been for many years (so long that Elliott Smith used to be an employee here, before he hit it big and offed himself). The staff is sweet and knowledgeable, and the shop's outer wall has a perpetual mural dedicated to his memory, where fans can write lyrics, thoughts and notes to him. Fun fact: It's the actual wall (and the same painted image, though redone many times) that Smith stood in front of for the cover photo of his album, Figure 8. Unfortunately, the wall is also an attractive site for graffiti artists, so expect a clean slate every six months or so.
