THESE DAYS is a gallery, store, and publisher located on the second floor in downtown Los Angeles. It is considered a little gem and a hidden gallery worth seeking out, though it does not get much foot traffic. Since its first exhibition in 2014, the gallery has exhibited a diverse range of work from a variety of artisans, from weekend warriors to lifelong professionals. The embrace of creative rebellion and nonconformist culture is apparent in their curation. The space features prints, paintings, sketches, stickers, necklaces, shirts, hats, and more. The store offers new and out-of-print photography books, zines, and art and design objects. This diverse amount means there is something for everyone to enjoy, buy, and explore. The location is near the Spring Street art walk, within walking distance of other galleries. A point noted is that it can get very hot when the gallery is full.
