“One of the most skillful, fairest, and generous mechanics in all of LA! I first went to them to help with a slightly complex A/C repair another shop had only complicated, and they were able to patiently diagnose the problem and fix it quickly, whereas the other shop gave up after one attempt.
They have since helped me with a variety of strange problems, always making time for them, explaining the issue and their solve, and getting me on my way.

I was worried I had a nail in my tire, but they assured me my tire just needed some air. I was also very happy they were open so early. I was in and out within 5 minutes. Rafael helped me out and he was so friendly!”
“Highly recommend. I took my newly bought 2008 Volvo here before I bought it to check it out. They were great and told me the good and the bad. I then used them afterwards to fix up the car. I've been three or four times. Mostly helped by Everth, he's been amazing but everyone has been knowledgeable and honest. More than that they always tried to do their best and offer good solutions. My father was in the car trade so I grew up around cars and mechanics, so I know a lot. They didn't know that but treated me more than fair Everytime. All the work they did looks to be a high standard. So I really would recommend this place and it's staff. It's small but it's somewhere I trust and for me that is so important. “I would highly recommend this shop to anybody who has car repairs or maintenance to do. After an accident, the insurance company and the repair shop was freaking out about the car with extremely insanely high prices to repair and long delays. Nothing was happening. I then got my car out of there and brought it over to this shop. They gave me a great price and it never went up. The car looks brand new when I picked it up and they did it quickly, efficiently and did a good job. I would definitely use this shop again. They even ended up repairing some small things for me here and there that wasn’t connected to the original damage. It was extra. Great service!”

“John is a real stand-up guy. I needed to take my car across country, and he refused work that would have been expensive (aka more money for him) because he insisted the fix still wouldn't have given me a safe drive. Several other mechanics I spoke to were more than willing to do the job...
Instead I sold that car and John helped me research a used truck. After I bought it they did all the adjustments and replaced hoses etc. for a great price.
If I were staying in LA, Choi's would be my mechanic for life... great prices, super friendly, very honest. Thanks again!”

Albrik recognized I needed my vehicle until they could complete the repair in the next few days, and he was very kind enough to let me pick up my vehicle and not charge me even though part of the work was complete. Came across honest which I appreciate. Pricing seemed fair. Would bring my car back again.”
