So many ppl in line, and they have only 2 reps helping out. Make no mistake, there are A LOT of employees walking back and forth, they just don't think they should help with the long line. Including not a supervisor(?) who just sits behind all the others looking very bored.

Not enough tellers most of the time. The tellers that are here, are in a competition for the sloth awards

Wells Fargo Customer Beware - Our online Wells Fargo Account just got hacked and the fraudsters were able to wire transfer $12K from the account. It is an obvious fraud. However, the Wells Fargo Online Fraud dept. and back office our denying our claim because they think "We" compromised our account. This is outrageous. Their customer services and backend offices are so disjointed that every time its a different call to a new person. I am planning on leaving after 30+ years with Wells Fargo.

I have been banking with Wells Fargo for 30 plus years and there is a reason. I find the tellers and people in the offices very competent, courteous and efficient. I just got done working with John Hua and needed a transaction sheet for my CPA. John got me in between appointments and had what I needed in 5 minutes. He made my day! All of the recent tellers have been great to work with and i feel blessed to have this good team here in los Gatos. During COVID it is best to make an appointment but you can also walk in and get good service. thanks John ! Patrice

Far too few tellers. Long, long waits. COVID is poor excuse. Shorter hours, fewer people = worse service.

I had a Wells Fargo document that I need to get notarized and I randomly decided to call them to see if they would notarize it. Not only did they say yes but they said that I could come in right away if I wanted.I was in and out in 10 mts. The lady who notarized the doc was super courteous and she even said she would take care of mailing it , so I saved myself a trip to the post office too. Here's the best part... apparently they offer free notary to everyone for all documents. What!! I wish I had known this 20 years ago.

They like to lock their door before the actual 6pm closing time. So don't dare show up at 5:58 or 5:59, it'll be locked a minute or 2 early. Going to a new location now perhaps from now on, after I've been going here for a few years. Major pet peeve of mine is closing early... Thanks for no help from the people who are in a rush to close 1 minute early.

I have banked here for over 25 years with all of my accounts both personal and business. The tellers are very nice people. The bank practices are unethical at best and fraudulent at worst. I went into the branch to withdraw money from my business account to deposit into my personal account. I then went shopping and was declined because MY CASH DEPOSIT WAS HELD FOR THREE DAYS!!! The explanation was that is was a transfer-except that I don't have transfer options between the two accounts. I went all the way back to the branch to have it fixed and was told they couldn't do anything because I hadn't done the transfer correctly. The only option they gave me was to transfer more money. Oh and this was after 30 minutes on the phone with "customer service"

Last night John Hua took the initiative to help me with my struggles and I had a overdraft fee came out of no where and never call the 800 number on the back of your card cause they don't really help you as much. John helped me as much as he can. He made me happy when I left and I hope he did that with all customers.

Although I was a customer for two decades, I tell my friends to avoid this Los Gatos bank and Wells Fargo in general. Their incompetence on completing paperwork for a simple savings account that was supposed to be Payable On Death ("POD") was designated instead as "POA" (Power of Attorney) resulted in my elder parent's accounts having to be probated instead of having the funds immediately released, as my parent intended (and specified to them -- I was there, so don't blame it on the elderly factor). Their response when this came to light? Denying any wrong-doing, calling "Legal," and repeating their stupid talking point that the paperwork was wrong. (YES, I KNOW, THE WELLS FARGO AGENT MADE THAT MISTAKE). So don't take those free stale cookies and mediocre coffee and live humans as a guarantee that you'll get actual help when something goes wrong. They will lawyer-up faster than you can say "My god, I'm moving my accounts to Ally Bank, since obviously there is no benefit to live people in a large corporate bank culture like this one." And we won't even go into those fraudulent accounts they set up and how many years it takes to change a corporate culture.
