“Baywoods little liquor store sells drinks and snacks and so much more!!! Play the lottery here, or get your paycheck cashed. Buy some smokes and talk to some folks who will make you feel warm and welcome. Locals shop here daily for their needs, and around here, they take it SLO, there's no need to speed. A few things that you might want to know are: 1. You can purchase CA lottery scratcers here with your debit or credit card. It is the only store in Baywood and Los Osos that you can buy them without cash besides Shell on Los Osos Valley road. Be aware that they stop selling CA lottery tickets and scratches at 9:30pm a 1/2 hour before they close in the evenings at 10pm.
2. They have real slushies!!! Red,Blue, and purple flavors!!!! SERIOUSLY!!
3. Monday afternoon between around 1-5 pm this place gets really busy due to the amazing weekly local farmers market that happens right across the street. This is the only time that you may experience a line of people or a wait time of over, let's say... 5 minutes to be rung up for your items.
4. This place is very dog friendly. The whole town is. So it is common to see unattended dogs out front waiting for their human to finish yapping about the current events with one of the friends they come across. A lot of times, they will be unleashed, and that's no need for concern.
5. They do cash checks for a small fee. There are requirements for doing so, such as ID verification. Also, you can get cash back here for a service fee as well.
6. Several days a week, there is a food truck that uses the parking lot. They set up at certain times. I definitely see them there during events such as on the weekend when live music is playing across the street at the local bar (The Merrimaker) and the farmers market on Mondays.
7. This store has an impressive wine selection. Well... this is basicially wine country, so that makes sense.”

“Large, creamy Hass avacadoes can be found here, amongst many other lesser known varieties. The farm is a peaceful sanctuary along Highway 41. These beauties cost more, but they are well worth it. Buy local!”

“I couldn’t find ANY Animal Welfare Certified / Humanely Raised meat of any kind. Just the fake “pasture” fosters chicken. Which is not really humane certified.

I want to eat cruelty free meat, and I’ll pay big bucks for it!”

“We had the two different kind of oysters that were shucked for us. We had to wait as there was only one person but completely understandable and worth the wait.”

“Albertson is a wondetful Market, my favorite.
The employees are extremely helpful! Produce, meats always presented well and fresh.

I wish the rotesserie chickens would improve. I have tried them countless times. Even when fresh out of the oven they are always dry and over cooked. Unfortunately have fiinally stopped buying them. Wish for an improvement, then Albertsons would be a perfect ten.”

“Wonderful renovation! It’s so nice to see Cayucos have a great grocery store and know when we visit, we don’t have to head to morro bay for groceries anymore. The place looks great!”

“Beach Hut Deli in Los Osos is an absolute delight! Their gourmet sandwiches are creative, flavorful, and always fresh—plus they use cream cheese instead of regular cheese, which gives each bite a rich, unique twist. The beachy vibe, complete with beers on draft, makes it a relaxed, fun spot to grab a bite. Whether you’re craving a classic or something adventurous, they’ve got something for everyone. The staff are friendly, efficient, and the atmosphere is upbeat and welcoming. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy a top‑notch sandwich by the coast!”

“Very friendly easy in and out. Nice liquor selection. Good location across the street from the bouy (bar) so you can pick up any important stuff on the way home. Of course I would never suggest drinking and driving. Police do patrol the bar area.”

“I’m so thrilled to have great coffee in town again. Great staff, fun and contemporary design that makes the space cohesive and still reminds you where you are (the beach), serving Black and White espresso, fun and approachable food menu.”
