Active yet serene park near the South Fork of the American river… usually a lot of kids playing frisbee and football (not American football); plenty of parking spaces. It also has an almost half mile paved walking loop, which is fantastic. We really enjoy coming to the park for our daily constitutional.

American river is reasonably quiet here. Nice place for tubing and kids water activity. There is a $10 fee to enter the park. People who do river tubing and rafting get off here.
