“I wandered into this (mostly) vacant mall not expecting to find anything at all, but was very pleasantly surprised to discover the sole shining light at the very back: THE best gunpla model kit store I've ever seen in LA! Their selection is really impressive. On our visit we found several non-gunpla kits and figures that we'd never seen before, which is saying something. We've been to every store on the nearby Little Tokyo strip several times over and often find the same tired inventory shared between most of them. This place was such a breath of fresh air. Plus, not only are the prices extremely fair, but they actually have sale items!! Several Mobile Suit Gundam kits from the latest The Witch From Mercury line were going for 15-20% off, something I've never seen at Anime Jungle or anywhere else in LT. I got the HG Demi Barding for $20, an amazing deal. Highly recommend this hidden gem for all your gunpla needs. Can't wait to go back!”
“My bf and I visited the mall this afternoon after not coming here in about 2 years. Lots of new shops or ones we didn't get to see last time because they closed early or something. We dropped by this shop today and what a fantastic experience!The man who worked there today really sold us on buying some more blind boxes. It's our addiction and the prices here are wonderful. Crazy good prices AND the young lady cashier even told us they do trades! Anything in their display case was up for trading in case you didn't get the one you wanted in your blind box. They specifically had one of the Digimon ones we didn't have yet and I pulled one that I didn't want so I ended up trading for it! Great shop and wish more shops did a trade system like this. “Absolutely LOVE this place. My friend and I took a trip out to Torrance to relive our inner 80s kids and we loved every second of it. 80s/90s nostalgia in well organized glass cases with lots of unopened merch, hard to find and rare items. There was also inventory sitting off to the side waiting to be put on display. Toys of the universe indeed... and everything in between. The owner is so knowledgeable and personable; we really enjoyed talking to him. He gave us some "ah ha" info about select items that made it feel like we were in a museum (if you're a true nerd, you know that random facts are like power-ups *insert sound effects here*). We bought a Gameboy at his other location with 2 games. They were willing to make a fair deal and allowed us to test it in the store. This was my first time ever (yes, ever) playing a Gameboy and my heart melted a little bit :)There were many times I spotted an item that took me back to the good ol' days and I had to keep my tears in check. I must have said "I remember this!" over 30 times. We got a few things and are already planning another trip. The prices are reasonable and they also buy items which they can give store credit or cash. Def support small biz by checking out this unique gem. I wish they had places like this out by me in Ventura. Until then, we will keep going back for our nostalgia fix.”
“I've been here twice and I've walked out a few times with a bunch of figures. I wish I grabbed the Cell figure from there. Other than that, this place is really great and the employees have always been friendly. If you guys want figures for a reasonable and good price, I recommend going to this store.”

“I visited here about 4 years ago and instantly fell in-love. It was here that I was introduced to such things as Ugly Dolls and those rabbits that smoke...heh. I will always love this place, one major reason is that they also sell a lot of Tim Burton collectibles, and I'm a huge Burton fan. I bought a set of his small figurines while there.”
“It's great to see a brick and mortar gift shop that is local and curates items. They have toys, games, gifts, and even baby clothes in the very back! There is a closet full of baby clothes and onesies that would make perfect gifts. The staff greeted us but also allowed us to browse the shop at our leisure. It is always fun to visit this place. The prices are fair- there was a puzzle that I was eyeing on Amazon, and PIxie Toys sold it $1 cheaper. So you know your girl purchased it right away! I'm sure some items are slightly higher than those from mega stores like Amazon, Toys R Us, etc., but in this case, I found something cheaper! I thought gift wrapping would be just placing items in bags and fill with tissue paper, but Pixie Toys literally GIFT WRAPS them, and all with care! I was so impressed, and the two friends who received the gifts absolutely loved them!”
“Was just here with my family...2 grown ups...2 college boys..3 little girl's. Bought 2 items I didn't even know I wanted. Lots of stuff for everyone. Staff was polite and not pushy at all. Great selection and just when you think you're done browsing you find another gem in the aisles. Store was clean and everything was neatly stacked. I will definitely be back and hopefully find something super cool again!”
“We brought our kids here to celebrate their birthday by letting them pick out what they wanted. It was such a special experience!! I loved how everything was easy to see and my kids didn't make a mess by trying to pick everything up to "discover" and if they looked at something it was easy to put back. I don't know why I liked that!! There are toys for all budgets just look around! The girl working was so nice and helpful and really likes working there so that was also nice because I was asking her about their inventory! Thanks for the awesome toys!”

It's hard to find some of the specific ones, this store seems to have those like Rosalina, different colored yoshi etc. One time they shipped it within an hour of placing the order and we received it next day as we live a bit close by. Within 24 hours! Absolutely loved it. Very efficient store!”

“this five below is in a pretty decent sized plaza. there's a target and a trader joe's right next to it, so the parking is fairly easy. i was surprised to see how big this five below was. the compton and hawthorne locations are a bit smaller than this one. i've been here twice and have seen way more items than the other locations. this one's clean and neat for the most part. i love coming to five below to find some gems for a good price. they have so many things like toys, books, stuffed animals, home decor, & more. the candies are also pretty good too! i didn't need any customer service but there was a ton of people working that day. like i'd say more than 15 workers! i'd definitely come back to this location whenever i'm in the area”
