“Our family has adopted cats from Friends of Madera Animal Shelter for years. All cats have arrived well after their required stay at the Madera animal shelter . Friends of Madera Animal Shelter transports cats from the shelter to local Pet Smart stores for adoption. We live 200 miles from this shelter. Transport is one of many programs this group does. Friends of Madera Animal shelter is volunteer with more immediate animal s' needs then there are people and money to help out. As a result we also make a annual donation to the organization.”
