In a tourist town of overpriced restaurants, Burgers Restaurant is a no frills, just serves good classic burger and fries sort of place. The portions are huge, great after a day of physical activity whether you're skiing, mountain biking, rock climbing, or whatnot. I ordered the 1/4 lb burger and fries ($12.95) and could barely finish it. The fries were quite good and piping hot, but there were so many the boyfriend had to help me out. He ordered the 1/2 lb burger and fries ($14.95), and after finishing that and some of my fries he too was stuffed. My patty was well done but actually not dry, and the one thing I really appreciate about their burgers is that they add a good amount of lettuce, which most restaurants don't do. The beer was also reasonably priced - my local pale ale on draft was $5.95 and bottles were $6.95. And lastly, Burgers scores major points on service. The host cheerfully welcomed us then wished us a good night when we left. Our server was so warm to all the customers. When another party was seated and then realized they were at the wrong restaurant the staff was still friendly and gave them directions to their destination. In summary, if you're looking for a gourmet burger, this is not your place. But if you want a simple burger with large portions that's easy on the wallet, then check out Burgers Restaurant.

The food was very good. They have salads, soups and the usual lunch menu. Our server was very nice and helpful. Wed go back there again.

The restaurant looks like a rustic cabin with lots of wood. The food was very comforting and tasty...I had stew and my husband had a beef dip sandwich. We decided to share a mud pie for dessert. It was huge and delicious. It was all I could do to finish and I know I over ate. Prices were a little high except when I considered what we would have paid for 2 ice cream sundaes...Our waitress was very good stopping by regularly even though it was very busy. We did have a charge on the bill for 64 cents that I didn't understand but it didn't seem worth the hassle to ask about it.

This is a cornerstone burger joint in Mammoth Lakes. Ed operates a really great restaurant here. The menu isn't too complicated but the food is excellent. I enjoy the buffalo patty burgers a lot. Really good fries!
