“I booked 29 separate reservations with Sierra Meadows Ranch during the 2025–2026 season, and my team and I had an excellent experience every time. The cabins are comfortable, well-maintained, and located in a beautiful, convenient area close to everything Mammoth has to offer. The staff consistently went above and beyond to help with anything we needed and were always responsive, accommodating, and friendly. We especially appreciated how proactive they were in checking in to make sure our stay was going smoothly. Based on our repeated stays, I can confidently say that Sierra Meadows Ranch provides outstanding hospitality and a great overall guest experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Mammoth.”
“Just went to the store and ate breakfast from the food truck. Very friendly staff and food truck made a huge bacon amd egg sandwich. Great place to geab fishing gear, souvenirs and a cup of coffee.”
“Booked the fisherman's cabin for the weekend for my son's bachelor party and we had an amazing time. The cabin comfortably accommodated 8 adult fishermen and served as a great home base for our activities. The service from the staff was outstanding and reminded me of the care and attention you'd get at 5-star hotels and resorts in Hawaii. I will have to come back with my wife for a couple's getaway.”
“This is such a great place to stay located near Canyon Lodge. You can walk to Canyon Lodge drive to go skiing or in the summer it’s a short 2 mile drive up to the Lakes.”
“Very clean, tidy room at a great price! Staff was very courteous. Rooms are small but great for the price. Coffee & microwave are in office. Fresh coffee was ready early in the morning.”
“Best location in town - across the street from gondola to canyon lodge, close to bus station to main lodge, walking distance to restaurants, pizza, etc.
Only negative thing I have to say is the shower head height - and I'm not even that tall.
It's a great deal for short stays.”

“Stayed in room 15 and 307. The people are so sweet room was clean and came with more then I expected plates, bowls, and glassware! Free tea and condiments even some hot coco! The heating in the bathroom was also incredible would stay a million times again.”

“This hotel exceeded all of my expectations. I appreciated the underground parking (even in offseason for security reasons); however, I do not appreciate paying for parking when paying for a room. Check in was a breeze, the trail mix bar in the afternoon was fun, the room (king studio) was wonderfully appointed, and the location can't be beat.”

“For one of the lower-cost lodging options in town, this far exceeded my expectations! The location was incredibly convenient to everything in town, the room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, and we enjoyed the hot tub after a day on the mountain. I will definitely stay here again!”
“Everything we needed for a long Thanksgiving weekend with the kids. Our room had everything we needed, was warm and comfortable and the location has great access and convenience to the mountain. I cant fault the facilities but a tip..... Be mindful where you park your car in the garage, an acidic drip from an above pipe has burnt through the clear coat of my brand new truck and that the only reason I give it 4*”

“Look, you dont come to this place for luxury, you come here to sleep, then get up and ski. It's in a great location, although the room i was in had a smell of cigarettes. There were some coyotes in the morning that came to get food from the hotel guests, which was interesting. All in all, its in a nice location, and I'd come back, but don't count on the rooms to be the nicest you've ever slept in.”

“I spent a day out at Convict Lake Resort Marina and, not gonna lie, it felt like the ultimate alpine escape. The boats are spotless and super comfy. The prefect place to bring friends and family together onto a luxury pontoon (the 20’ seats up to 9 and runs about $707/day, or go big with the 25’ Cruise for 13 people at $807/day). The staff gets you set up fast and with a smile. The lake itself is ringed by dramatic peaks, and there’s nothing like grilling up your fresh-caught bass right on the water while soaking in those mountain views. The water is ice-cold (classic alpine lake), but well worth a dip if you’re feeling brave.
Pro tip: do the lake loop hike before or after. It's easy, scenic, and you’ll want to work up an appetite for an on-boat cookout. Perfect spot for a day with friends or family, just remember to book ahead and fill out your waiver online.”
