“Nice and helpful people run the resort. We had a newly renovated cabin that had everything we needed; well stocked kitchen includes dishwasher. Comfortable with 2 televisions!”

“I've stayed here many times over the years. It's totally Alpen kitsch, but I love it. If you're looking for the fancy experience next to shopping and trendy restaurants, don't stay here. Stay lower down the mountain in The Village. This place is classic CA, and It's one of the only hotels with a real bar and restaurant where the food is actually good and large. The rooms aren't fancy, but they aren't small. Also, they are each slightly different. Location is great for the mountain sports: across the parking lot from Canyon Lodge. While you can't ski out, many seasons you can practically ski in.”

“Good but pricey place. Great location close to the Village Gondola to get to Canyon lodge. One thing to watch out for is they try to make you pay for more than 1 car even though you book a big suite for multiple people. Their policy online doesn't state that, so you have to point it out to them when you check in. It's not like that at other Westin's and it seems like it's just their management being greedy.Rooms: Clean but expensiveWalkability: Super close to the village gondola to Canyon lodge”

“Great location right at the base of the village and a short walk to the gondola. Didn't have to drive at all to the resort and deal with the parking / parking shuttles, so perfect for skiers.Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. We didn't try the clock tower cellar or Petras but will on our next visit.Rooms are comfortable and clean. Not at all a complaint, but for early-to-bedders the weekend can bring some noise from the patrons at the bar and restaurant. Will definitely stay again when we are in Mammoth!Rooms: Modern decor, cable TV options, nice refrigerator (no microwave), and comfy bedNearby activities: Quick access to the villageWalkability: Easy access to the village across the street and Gondola up the mountain”

“Have stayed here for the last 4 winter seasons and can say that this recent stay was better than the rest. Im pretty sure they upgraded their pillows and bedsheets because the beds felt cozier and comfortable. The manager and staff is always kind and informative. Thank you for a great Weekday ski trip experience.”

“Ended up in room 16 and it was a super cozy cabin feel next to the outdoor hot tub that seats about 5. Had plenty of space for 2 with all our ski stuff and luggage. Would definitely stay again”

“Location, location, location. Close to everything. But if you’re looking for a quiet place, this may not be the best choice. This is the central location for shopping during the day, and bars and restaurants at night. If you want to be in the middle of it all, this is your place. Proximity to the gondola is a huge plus, as well as underground parking.Nearby activities: Skiing.Walkability: Walk to restaurants, bars, shopping, and the gondola that takes you to the ski area.Food & drinks: Countless option nearby.”

“This is a wonderful hotel. The rooms are remodeled and are very clean. The majority of the staff is friendly and the breakfast is delicious. Keep in mind that they do not make the bed or change the sheets on a daily basis only towel changes and trash removal. Other than that it was a great experience and much better than all the other hotels nearby. The rental places for outdoor activities are not even a 2 minute walk from the hotel which is great. If you are looking for a family friendly hotel on your next stay this is the place to book.”

“Kinda outdated but makes up for it by being so super close to the chairlift! Ok food, equipment rental right in the lobby, and very helpful staff. A few hot tubs and a pool too...”
