The Village Lodge Mammoth offers comfortable condo-style accommodations in the Lincoln House section, with convenient access to cafes, dining options, and the mountain area. Guests appreciate the friendly staff and the location’s easy walk to shopping, food, and mountain activities, making it suitable for both short visits and longer stays. The lodgings are spacious with a cozy, alpine atmosphere, featuring small shops and restaurants nearby. However, some reviews mention that the units can be outdated and hot, with loud air conditioning units and uncomfortable beds, especially the pull-out beds for children. Parking in the garage has caused minor issues, such as damage to vehicles from leaks. The experience can vary depending on the unit, so booking in advance is recommended. The lodge is more suited for a small retreat rather than a weekend getaway, as there may be limited activities around the area. During winter, the location offers winter sports and the chance to see bears, while in warmer months, swimming and kayaking are popular at nearby lakes. Some guests have experienced altitude sickness, highlighting the importance of checking the actual elevation, as it can differ slightly from reports. Overall, The Village Lodge Mammoth provides a pleasant stay with excellent amenities and convenient access to the mountain and town, though some units may require updates for greater comfort.
Just having fun with the kids. Strange.... but fun.

TV in bedroom and hairdryer in bathroom doesn’t work. Living room bed was okay, but master room was good.

The place was very cute small shops and restaurants. I feel like it’s more for a small retreat than a weekend getaway. Not much to do around. The hotel was okay, big, open and spacious. Very outdated and hot. They put these super loud AC machines in the living room and the pull out bed is HORRIBLE. Super hard and no cushion.
