Vons in Mammoth Lakes is a clean, well-organized, and well-stocked grocery store, described as a fixture in town. It is a really nice store with a good variety of everything from basic groceries to specialty items for camping or a mountain trip. The produce department offers an excellent selection of fresh, quality, and guaranteed fresh fruits and vegetables. The store also features a bakery with custom cakes, a deli with party trays and Order Ahead service, and a butcher block with meat, seafood, and sushi. A huge plus is that it is always open, providing great convenience in the resort town. The staff is friendly and awesome, with helpful pharmacy services. Customers will find it very busy and a favorite place for groceries, complete with a huge water supply outside for pickup. Prices are typical and not different from a big city.
Nice bright store. Seems to be clean. Several items were out of stock (& not vendor items but store brand items like cut watermelon). Prices are reasonable for the area.

Pricey and they have sole control of a grocery market up in Mammoth. And what is sad is that there are no other pharmacies in town.
