The Roundhouse Aquarium is a wonderful little gem and non-profit educational aquarium located at the end of the Manhattan Beach Pier. It is open to the public free of charge daily, with donations encouraged. This small but beautiful aquarium is easy to walk through while enjoying the wildlife displays and interactive experiences. Visitors can get up close and personal with marine life by touching starfish and other local sea creatures in the touch tank. Displays include moon jellyfish, different fish, an octopus, and bones of sea animals, with educational labels at each. The friendly and wonderful volunteer staff provide guided interactive experiences at the tide pool for kids of all ages. There is also a second floor to explore. It is a perfect spot for a fun, affordable, and romantic stroll, offering a cool beach excursion for families, friends, and dates.
