Wonderful little gem of a place! Small enough to easily walk through while genuinely enjoying the wildlife displays and interactive experiences! The aquarium is conveniently located at the end of Manhattan Beach Pier. There are educational labels with pictures at each display, and there is a tide pool with guided interactive experiences on site for kids of all ages! The moon jellyfish were so cool to watch! Definitely if you are in the area check it out! It's easy to get to and free to enter, although donations are encouraged and accepted.

Located at the end of the Manhattan Beach pier, so it has wonderful scenery. Has live and pictorial examples of fish and sea creatures that habitat locally. Great experience for families.

Had a wonderful time! Got to see and learn a lot of amazing things. Would visit here again any time I’m at the beach, better than any real aquarium for the free price. The volunteer staff are wonderful, especially Dave.

Very small, but cute and fun for kids. On the pier, off the boardwalk, so a nice excursion to stroll to

My wife and I stopped by this Aquarium while walking about Manhattan Beach. I never been here and was interested of what they have inside. It's free to come visit, you just have to check in at the front. They asked what city you're coming from and that was basically it for us. This place is very small so be aware of that and they have a 2nd floor as well. They had some fishes, bones of sea animals, octopus and starfish. We had a good experience and was nice to experience seeing some sea creatures.

Super cute hidden gem at the end of the pier, but some improvements needed! Roundhouse aquarium is small, donation based, and almost blends in with the pier. I had no idea it even existed. When in Manhattan beach, we went to check it out and had a great time. The staff are friendly and inviting as well as informative. The tanks have a pretty solid variety of marine animals despite it being such a small aquarium. The tanks did look like they could use a good scrubbing, and popping a few windows to ease up on the fishy smell would've been helpful. The fish looked like their environments weren't the cleanest, and giving the whole aquarium a good deep clean would make this an easy 5 stars!

A neat little stop at the end of the pier with a good variety of animals despite being small. You can probably finish the experience in 10-15 minutes. It's worth visiting if you happen to be at the pier the time it opens like I was. Don't sweat it if you miss it.

Maintained purely on donations this aquarium is free....the staff are probably high school students interested in the sciences . My family enjoyed walking around seeing the different fish and water species.

This place is so cool, it's a free aquarium at the end of the pier in Manhattan Beach. I can't believe I missed this last time I was in the area. It's definitely worth a visit!! I love looking at the spiny lobsters and different types of eels. It's a small aquarium but definitely worth a visit! Fun for Snapchats and IG filtered pix!!
