UPDATE 03/29/24: The Area Director reached out to me after my situation was brought to his attention. He was extremely understanding, polite and sincere in helping me resolve this issue. I was able to go into the branch and finally get my daughter's account setup this past week. The manager and staff apologized for my troubles and were much more pleasant this time around. They did an excellent job of providing my daughter with a unique, professional but personable experience. I hate that it had to come to this to get things moving along but they did sincerely apologize and make up for the prior mishaps. Thank you and changing my star rating from 1 to 4. Lastly, to the people up top at Citibank....still.....please open a branch in Stockton! It only makes sense since Stockton is the most centralized location in the area. That would be ideal for the majority of the customers in this portion of the central valley.

This is the worst branch ever. There is one person who handles the office does not how to serve a client. I don’t wanna name it in public. But if Citi reaches to me in private I’ll respond. Worst experience as a customer. This person does not have any ability to serve as client service professional. No empathy, no consideration, no knowledge about client service. This person is a very big black spot on citi’ brand image. Citibank should fire this person with immediate effect

After reading all these reviews about this branch I don't think I wanna go there anymore. It's the closest to my house about 15’. I rather go further out to a better branch I might even withdraw all my money.

When I attempted to close my account they refused, then they shut down my atm card. I have a large sum of money and they are attempting to hold it I have a video if anyone wants to see… when I came again a lady came to my vehicle and said well we need to look at your account, then said well how money do you want. So world I’m at the bank again hoping n praying they will give me my money ??

All the negative reviews.. wow just wow... with all the banks that have been robbed you can't blame them for being anything but on guard.. besides that what a bunch of nice ladies that are respectful and kind to each and every customer i ever seen.. never had any complaints love this location better then any other bank in town.. keep up the good work ladies.. have a happy new year's ?

Writing a review for Citibank in general. There were invalid, fraudulent charges made on my checking involving Zelle. My entire umbrella account (checking, savings, Visa credit, Mastercard credit) was hacked. They did cash advances on two credit cards, transferred them to checking. Same thing was done with savings and eventually "system" zelled them to a particular person. Compounding the problem, a Citibank customer service called prior to these alerting me of some fraud. Either that person is an impersonator or it was an inside job from Citibank since these weren't prevented. I went to a local branch the next day and was told that fraud department takes care of these anomalies but they were useless and just added more frustrations. We initially contacted fraud department which took more than an hour before somebody would attend to. Multiple follow ups were done up to this point since the time it happened (12/8/21). Citibank says its valid since Zelle was used on transactions. Already involved the lawyer and will escalate more thru department of justice. Been a customer for them since 2009 and a lot of major transactions in the past were done thru them. They're really good if its for their advantage but once issues arose, you're on your own. Stay away from this leech bank, it won't protect your hard earned money from any online theft.

I went to this bank at about 1 in the afternoon on a Friday and a bank teller woman was standing just inside the door and opened it when I walked up to ask me what business I had at the bank today. I told her I was cashing a check and she told me that the bank teller line was closed and they were directing all customers to the atm just outside the building. This was the strangest experience I've had at a bank and honestly probably the dumbest. I asked her when the bank closed because it was so early and she stared at me for a few seconds silently and said "...um... we're open, but our teller line has been closed all day. We can help customers again on Monday." I made the 25 minute drive to this bank and there was another teller inside behind her just standing around so it really came off like the workers here were just incredibly lazy. Wouldn't recommend banking here

The service here is unbelievable! Only two tellers at the most every time I go there and for a bank not to accept cash for payment is a little Ridiculous. if they want to know why I won't open an account there , THATS WHY. im surprised that citi bank is still in business

1/8/2021 at 4:45pm I came to this location to make a deposit. There were only 2 tellers at the time. The older female Asian teller with short hair was extremely rude. She kept insisting that my debit card was not activated (when I did activate my card and show her the confirmation from Citibank) and instead of offering help with my transaction, she threw my card back to me (yes, threw!) and told me to call the back of the card for help. I politely asked her if I could work with someone else in the bank and she annoyingly replied "Sure, if you want". I felt disgusted by her response, but not wanting to make a scene at a public place, I moved to the next counter to ask for help from the other teller, who was very helpful. The problem with my card came from Citibank side, and she helped me to reset my pin. While this transaction was taking place, the rude teller kept giving provocative talks over the counter to the teller that I was working with and insisting that it was not her fault and I had not activated my card. I technically had to ask her to stop talking. Extremely disrespectful! The brand manager just stood there and did nothing. This is not my first encounter with this rude teller. I have been to this location once after opening my Citibank account in December 2020. The first encounter was just as bad. She did not know how to deposit my money with an ID and account number. She just came up with some weird reasons why I should not do it and refused doing it. Now I can certainly say that she did not know how to do it. Unfortunately, no one else was available to help me at the time. Here's a piece of advice. Train your people so they know how to do their job. If they can't, then they should know how to say "I'm sorry I don't have the knowledge to do XYZ. Let me find someone else who can", and not to show hostile/disrespectful behavior towards your customers, and more importantly, apologize when you are clearly in the wrong. At the end, no apology was given (neither from the teller or the branch manager). I am disgusted by the way this branch treats their customers (even with the branch manager, who was also unprofessional and tried to deny the wrongdoings from her team member). The worst experience I have ever had dealing with a bank in general. I already filed a complaint to corporate. I sure hope they look into this.
