“I have renewed my CCW several times at 831 shooter and have learned a lot each time. The class is interesting and entertaining and the qualifying is safe and well structured.”

“Military, just transferred from Mississippi-When it comes to second ammendment rights, California is pretty rough. Between the taxes, the wait, and the background checks for every bullet, things can get pretty expensive. Good shops close down and big box places can treat you as badly as they want. It took me 3 or 4 different places before I found a local gun store who would make eye contact, smile, and ask how they could help me. That gun store is FFL 831. They charge just enough to keep the lights on, will track down anything you're looking for, and treat you like an old friend instead of a POW looking for a weapon. I will come back too many times for my savings account, and if you're looking for a shop, I think you should too.”

“Great experience! I was skeptical after hearing about crazy wait times, but my kitchen table guy retired so I decided to check them out. Lauren C. was very helpful and went above and beyond to get me all of the info I needed to complete my purchase. If it's busy, make sure to sign in so you're not waiting longer than necessary. Alternatively, go early on a week day (mid-week seems to be best). Will definitely be returning for my next purchase, and would highly recommend them to anyone else.”
