“Markleeville is a gem and so is this charming, old fashioned general store. I stopped by on my way to the Woollystar Music Festival. The rustic vibes made me feel like I had stepped back in time. They carry a lot of essentials you'd need for a weekend in a cabin or camping beneath the stars, and they have a surprisingly good selection of alcohol. Super friendly staff, too. Best of luck to the new owners!”

“At least we have fuel on top of Hill, though it's a bit expensive but surely life saving to someone.I was driving from Yosemite to Lake Tahoe and didn't realize that fuel is not enough to reach my destination. I didn't find any gas stations except Kirkwood on the way to Tahoe.Unfortunately, the gas station has only one pump and it was not working due to some issues in payment. I was lucky enough as someone already reported to the company and the security person just reached to restart the machine and application from the cabin/office. It took a while to make it work, I am glad ? and thankful to the security person for outstanding service and assurance.”
