I’m very happy to finally find an honest mechanic. I’ve never had a surprised bill, or a surprise thing that needed fixing out of nowhere. Also, I just bought a used car the last week and even though it was pre-certified, I decided to get it checked out here. “I needed regular maintenance for my 2019 Toyota Highlander. I've used Stress-Free before and they have always been reliable. So I called, made an appointment and went in last week. What I needed only required 1.5 hours, so I chose to go get breakfast and wait. During that time, I received several updates via text including pictures. They advised me on what I needed to do soon on the car as well as maintenance I could delay. It was an easy and pleasant experience. I will bring my other car in soon.”

Lately, the last few times I was at that dealership; the service representatives there tried to sell me services and products I did not need and the prices for these alleged services and products, were shocking, to say the least! A good friend referred me to Norcal Tire and Auto Services and Collision in Vallejo ... I decided to go there and I was treated with the upmost respect and consideration. I even got a good deal on a set of tires, I needed so badly! What's more they topped off all the fluids my car needed as they gave my car a checkup on everything the dealership, I had gone to before, tried to sell me on. “The shop owner of Pacheco Auto Car, Raj, is exceptional - from my first phone call to delivery on auto-care/repair, his customer service, experience, and expertise are top-notch. My daughter, now just 20 years old, found Raj when she was about 18 years old. Raj has repaired all of her car's issues and, is always at a fair price. Raj is kind, and accommodating and he does fantastic work. We just had our 1974 Chevy Suburban towed to Raj - it was all very last minute, but Raj was able to add our car to his list and enabled us to park our truck in his locked premises in the meantime. For us, Raj is just a quick 5 minutes away. If you are making a long drive, please know Raj and Pacheco Auto Care is well worth it!”

“I took my car in for a check engine light and rough idle. John checked the code while I was there, and said he'd call. I Googled the code and saw it could be a dozen different problems. John scoped the engine, checked compression and started with the obvious fixes. He called to brief me and authorize his plan. He fixed the problem, didn't sell me anything he (or I) didn't need, and scoped the engine again to verify his fix. His price was fair, he worked promptly and communicated well. “Where to begin..? TL:dr, buy and service here, Porsche and Volvo; and if you are new to Volvo like I was, be prepared to be impressed. These are solid folks, and they work with excellent products - here’s how I know:
Beginning with purchase, I needed something comfortable, reliable, and safe, for the regular long distance drives that my wife, and our two dogs do on a regular basis; between visits to the family house in South Lake Tahoe and checking in on aging parents in the Arizona desert, we rack up some miles. Martin Diefenbach is a legend in the world of air-cooled Porsches and I was fortunate enough to find myself conversing with him at a car meet one morning, and as luck would have it, he operates a boutique dealership in Walnut Creek, partnered with Antonio, who specializes in diagnostics and maintenance of Volvo Cars. I was originally thinking about an older Porsche Cayenne or possibly Macan, but my budget meant I would be buying a pile of compromises, even if I looked at Audi options; I had never considered Volvo, they simply weren’t on my radar
Martin and Antonio spent countless hours on the phone and in person, answering questions, demonstrating features, even lending me their personal vehicles, helping us finally land on The One, an XC60 T6 version, that checks all the boxes for us, proving an absolutely fantastic, trustworthy road trip companion
In optimizing it for winter use I added dedicated ice & snow tires, and I wanted to convert the hubs to studs, instead of bolt-style lugs, to simplify the swap back and forth with summer wheels & tires. This is where it becomes clear how the gang of technicians behind the scenes at Independent add immeasurable value to the Sales side. Unlike the usual pot-lot wholesaler, Independent offers lifetime of comprehensive care and maintenance, and they are excellent. After installing the aforementioned winter upgrades, and performing full spark plug & serpentine belt service for us, we immediately racked up half a dozen Tahoe trips, and a drive to the desert and back, thru a series of storms and blizzards
To say our Independent Volvo has performed well would be such an understatement, rather, it has proven to be the most comfortable, capable, and confidence inspiring Grand Tourer we could have asked for. More important though is the support, knowing that Antonio and his team, Juan, Ramon, and Savanah all get it. Volvo is a premium manufacturer and their products are designed to perform at a high level, and after several thousand miles through the most demanding conditions, thru areas where mechanical failure is simply not an option, I can wholeheartedly endorse that … assuming Independent Volvo Porsche Service & Sales is providing the support behind the scenes ~ thank you all once again! ?”

I brought my 1994 brown chevy k1500 truck in to the shop,and wanted to have the problem found,and turned out I needed a transmission rebuild,and the owner there was really nice a very caring about his customers,and there prices were outstanding as well.
Finally, I want to give the owner/mangers a very big thank you cause one of the workers taught me how to use the 4wd feature in my truck
and to be honest I know this review only goes up to 5 stars but I give you guys 6 stars for sure”
