“Man this place is so Kool. First right off the top it gives you a man cave vide. It's like taking a step into the past. I don't know if you remember hardware stores like I do but this place reminds me to takeing trips with my pops for some lumber or some hinges or whatnot. They got just about anything and everything you need here. I went there looking for a couple of hard to find bolts for the intake manifold on my truck and lo and behold they had them. Folks there are knowledgeable, friendly, and quiet willing to help. Prices aren't too bad. competitive with any other place like Home Depot or Lowe's maybe even a tad bit better. So if you're in the vicinity and looking for a good hardware store I highly recommend LB Johnson's Ace True Value Hardware after all they do sell Craftsman tools.”

“We stopped by yesterday and Alex helped us immediately. He set us up with a color coordinator named Stephanie was extremely knowledgeable. She gave us excellent recommendations and was extremely patient. Afterward we came back to the shop and Andriana got us all of the color swatches. This is an excellent shop for all of your painting and color needs!”

“Frankly the best hardware store I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. They have EVERYTHING. Fans, leaf blowers, garden soil, fruit pickers, massive assortment of shovels and hoes, shelving, toilets, bidets, the biggest selection of screws and fasteners I have ever seen, and FROZEN RHUBARB PIES? I've never seen a store like this. Employees are incredibly helpful as well”

“Very nice spot. I like that the guy at the register always helps me out right away when I come in and finds what I need instead of me hunting for it. Also, love that it's next to home.”

“Eagle Tools is my “go-to” vendor for professional woodworking tools. I’ve have been going there for years and I’m constantly impressed with their quality, selection and service. The staff is outstanding! John and Greg are always ready to answer questions and assist with sales. Gabe runs the show and is following beautiful in his founding father’s (Jessie) footsteps. The store is extensive and masterfully organized. They are customer centric and regularly provide demo days and interactive product training. “I called ahead to make sure they had what needed & they did. So I tell them ill be there shortly and so when I get there they already were waiting on me. So I pay and then one of the girls has a dolly with what bough. I get to my truck it and she tried but just wasnt able to lift it so I stepped in like the gentleman I am & did it for her and for that reason I give it 5 stars cuz other stores with mostly men working there won't even ask if you need assistance loading and this place didnt ask just did it. Thank you for the great customer service Harbor Frieght Glassell Park,CA...”

“Chuck was so helpful! I wasn't sure what I needed. And honestly I'm tired of going to Home Depot for paint. It never works out like they promise. But .. today was different. “i really enjoy stopping by every now and then to browse the collection of tools, homeware, and kitchenware and to have a nice chat with the staff here! admittedly, i used to assume that they only had hardware tools so i didn't think i'd find something i needed until i stopped by on a whim one day after dining at Azay next door. i ended up buying some nice chopsticks and my friend bought a pickling container which we had coincidentally had a conversation about right before. i bought more random yet useful kitchen and cleaning tools the next time i went. goes to show how you can always find something you need or can be useful here! i sometimes get sad and feel nostalgic for small speciality stores ran by local families, so i'm really glad that there's a store like Anzen Hardware around and thriving! definitely will get a knife from here soon too”

“MISSION West K & B (est 2005) is an opulent one-stop-shop kitchen and bath shop. It is a family owned and operated business located in South Pasadena. They supply customers with all of their plumbing, lighting, hardware, counter top and custom cabinetry. Their showroom emits class and elegance as evidence by the unique-creative designs of their products. I was on the market of upgrading my kitchen and bathroom and they seem to have the stuff that I might need. I have looked all over Pasadena and they are on the top of my list. Parking is abundant along Mission street. Overall, it’s a great kitchen and bathroom store.”

“This hardware store has everything you could possibly need! The staff are super helpful, and they always seem to have the right tool for the job. Definitely my go-to for DIY projects.”
1801 North Western Avenue, Los Angeles CA 90027
“Been going here since the 80's (when it was in a different location). There's something very appealing about old-style neighborhood hardware stores. As a kid I loved exploring the seemingly overcrowded aisles. You'll always find something unexpected. Most important is the knowledgeable staff. There is always someone available to help you get what you need and even give you ideas and solutions if you are uncertain about your repair. This location is close enough to the more famous mega-hardware/home repair store. Come here first. If you don't find it here you can always go there afterwards (but they don't always have what you need either).”

“We’ve been in the artificial grass and hardscape business for 7 years, and Irrigation Express has been a huge blessing to our company. We purchase all of our turf from them, and Roberto and his team consistently deliver outstanding service. Their customer service is a solid 10/10, and their prompt attention when we need to switch or adjust anything is unmatched. We’ve worked with other companies in the past, but we’ve never experienced the level of care, reliability, and professionalism that we get from Irrigation Express. Highly recommend. Raymundo Mejía”

“This place is a KINGDOM for plumbing, and the owner is truly the KING! They stock unique tools you won’t find anywhere else, and the expertise here is unmatched. Whether you're a DIY enthusiast or a professional, this is a must-visit spot for anyone tackling home repairs. Knowledge, experience, and top-notch service, what more could you ask for?”

“About 10 years ago I purchased 2 6' double sided step ladders. The price was fantastic and the quality was even better. This last winter I left my Werner 28' extension ladders outside of an A frame house in the mountains. When I got there in the late spring after the snow melt, I found that the weight had crushed them enough that there were cracks in the fiberglass at each rung making them unsafe. I knew where I wanted to buy my new ladders but being from Washington State makes it tough to just go get them. But I do travel down there so I waited until the next trip. I checked prices from the big warehouse companies(not sure if I can mention Dome Hepot or Slowe's) before I went there but because of the quality of my step ladders I felt very good about making the purchase regardless. I had the pleasure of meeting Brad who spent way more time with me than I expected. He was extremely knowledgeable and just as friendly. In the end I purchased 3 ladders that day and came back for a 4th on my way back north. Even with CA 10.75 sales tax the ladders were cheaper than the big places. That includes Oregon which doesn't have sales tax. I would have been ok paying more because you usually do for better quality. But I saved over 15% total buy shopping there! A fantastic group of very nice people with a product of the highest quality. I'll be looking forward to seeing them again on my next trip through. Darrin Jackson”

“I sent some emails asking questions and they were answered very quickly with the information I requested. I loved the quick response which then led me to go to the location to get my 5lb co2 tank filled. The service was fast got in and out in about 15 min there were 2 customers before me. I Will likely come back if I get another tank or when my current one empties in a year or so.”

“My favorite hardware store in LA. A real hardware store that knows what they sell and how to use it. A welcome respite from Lowes HDtype decorating store where 99% of the staff in on their cell phone hiding from customers and they only sell replacements not parts to fix things.”
12194 Firestone Boulevard, Norwalk CA 90650
“After months long search for a specific leaf catcher, found it here at Alan’s. No surprise. My father, one of the original Japanese gardeners in Orange County, used to frequent Alan’s Lawnmower Shop. I believe that was the name back in the day. The leaf catcher is exactly the one used by my father and it’s almost impossible to find on the internet. I understand Alan’s is now run by the 3rd generation.”

“I went to this location with little expectation of getting my questions answered because I was certain I had irreversibly messed up my apartment walls by retouching spots with the wrong kind of paint. I had the right color, but was using an egg shell paint on a flat painted surface...which I didn't notice until I had retouched the entire townhouse before realizing that it was drying with a shine instead of flat. I had covered all our walls with these shiny spots and it looked horrible. At this Dunn-Edwards location, I was helped by Stephen, who was so patient and supportive in guiding me through how to potentially correct my mistakes. He was kind, informative, and eager to get the right match. And he was 100% right in his suggestions. It worked beautifully and my horrible amateur painter mistakes were corrected! I'm so very grateful for his help!”
