My honest review is that I felt mislead, came in wanting to ask for a specific type of loan and ended up with two accounts and several applications for different loan products - which were all denied. Then when I tried to share my feedback on the phone right now, I was responded to with condescending tone about what I can do to improve my situation - which is ironic because they know my situation is going to be difficult without the support they claimed to offer their members. I will be improving my situation the long and hard way, no thanks to Umpqua.

My wife and I have been on the phone about 25 hours in the past 10 days trying to resolve some banking issues.i don't mind a little wait, I do mind waiting 3 to 4 hours like today. I am onhold . When I do talked to someone they give me a different # to call..etc,etc........Time to change bank.I have been with bank since they opened

I have been with Umpqua since the transition from Humboldt bank. I have both my business and personal accounts here. I have found this bank to always be courteous and helpful. Some of the past reviews I checked out appear to have issues that are completely out of the employees hands and are corporate policy. Often the messenger can only deliver the message. Thank you Umpqua and THE Team who work there:)

Friendly team, but I can’t get over how lousy the hours are. 10-4:30 is very minimal for a bank.

Horrendous! Their Fraud Prevention program is totally dysfunctional. My card was blocked multiple times a day at the end of my time there, and customer service took 8 hours to fix my account which I then promptly closed

DOG FRIENDLY! They have water for your pooch. Even if you don't bank there you can stop in for a drink for your pooch. They are extremely friendly and of course have great coffee. They are supportive of the community.

Umpqua totally screwed me out of hundreds of dollars on an error. My business banked here for years but they don't care about losing business. You'll do better at another bank.

Love the personal staff, not like a big bank chain. I picked them because a person answered the phone while calling to find a bank after moving here.
