“My husband visited the Auburn ACE hardware. His Stihl chainsaw wouldn't start. Two of the employees, Derek and Tyler were so very helpful! They took the chainsaw in the back and came back out saying it needed an adjustment and new gas. Within minutes, it was up and running! Ace Hardware isn't a big box store, where a person has to hunt for someone to just answer a question; Ace Hardware is a locally owned store where a person can actually get a person to give the help that is needed.”

“AC shut down in the middle of a heat wave. Needed a new capacitor. Ferguson was the only business in the Tri County area with the right part. The big dude at the counter helped me locate the correct capacitor in their humongous warehouse. Price was great and service was awesome. Will be back. Even if I have to drive from Folsom again. Cheers.”
“Very nice team. Counter help and yard help have been helpful. Even the guy who checks you out of the yard once you have your lumber is very nice and even put a thick plastic red flag on the end of the wood for safety while driving.
Their prices are probably a third less than Home Depot and Lowes, so I won't buy wood anywhere else from now on. I would recommend the Auburn Diamond Pacific on Atwood Dr to anyone wanting less of a corporate (HD/Lowes) atmosphere of underpaid, jaded employees and wants to support a local branch with considerate local workers. Public is welcome. Not just contractors.”

“Our local ACE Hardware in Meadow Vista may be small compared to other ACE Hardware stores, but it is mighty! You cannot beat the personalized service that everyone there gives with a smile. I thoroughly enjoy going in there. They help me figure out solutions to any problem with irrigation, electrical, plumbing etc that I may have. The store also sells local honey and the best frozen pies (for only $18.99). In my opinion, the pies are better than Ikeda's in Auburn (which cost $29.99)!”
