Walked in and was immediately greeted with a hello. The young lady behind the counter was very nice. The chocolate is fantastic! A much better experience than the overpriced Mendocino Chocolate.

The best place in Mendocino to get your sweet tooth fix on. White chocolate Raspberry bark, Walnut Clusters, Divinity and Peanut Butter Fudge are my favorites! Love bringing friends here since I grew up on the Mendocino Coast these people are my favorite humans and candy. There is no wax and very little preservatives in their candy making it fresh and very tasty.

Practically the whole town closes down near sunset except for some restaurants, so we were fortunate enough to grab a few sweet treats. The Fudge and chocolate covered rice crispies were delicious to say the least. The people behind the counter were super nice and welcoming especially when it was closing time!

Some of the best candy is made by Papa Bear's Chocolate Haus. Any of the dark dark chocolate candies are amazing. Another favorite is the divinity. Papa Bear's Chocolate Haus is a destination place to get your chocolate fix on Main Street in Mendocino.

Everything is sooooooooo good. We would have gone back on the day we left Mendocino, but they didn't open until 12:30. Wish we would have bought more.

I purchased a variety of lovely chocolate confections. They were all perfect; not too sweet, so I was able to eat them without feeling like I overindulged. Yummy!

This place was SO good! We even detoured two hours to pick up chocolate. The best chocolate is the raspberry bark. Fresh raspberries in white chocolate, so good. I tried a bunch of other chocolates too and none disappointed. Highly recommend going!

We always grab a little something sweet here when in Mendocino. The selection was a little sparse this week but I am glad they are still in business.

Delicious!!! Got a caramel bar and a turtle like confection (called a bear). Delightful and friendly service too. A bit expensive but it was a treat.

The chocolate was OMG. Lots of different choices. I got a huge dark chocolate peanut cluster. It was huge. When I asked what was inside a piece my husband said something trying to be funny. Papa Bear himself jumped to my rescue saying a lot of people ask that question. I say it is worth going and getting some good chocolate if you are in the area

I recently visited this establishment, a very nice young girl asked me if I needed any help? I specifically inquired about their honeycomb candy that I had gotten several times in the past as a gift for my elderly grandfather. Before I could even get the words out of my mouth this older woman rudely said “ We only have what is in the case today!”So I tried to ask if they would have it on a different day and the same elderly woman very rudely cut me off and started yelling at me “ No!! Never!! We will never have that again!!” We only have what is in the case today! The customer next to me said she treats everyone like that! The young girl behind the counter looked horrified and asked if I needed any more help and I said “no sorry I will not be spending any of my money in this establishment when I am treated this rudely and I left.

If you have a sweet tooth craving, then look no further. Local shop that makes all the chocolates and sweets onsite. They offer a good selection of choices in both milk and dark chocolate. Dark chocolate with sea salt is always a good choice if you like dark chocolate. One thing that is cool to see is the tools of the trade. The shop has their pots and bowls on the wall.
