“Aside from them not having my favorite brand of pork rinds (they sell out so quickly) I love this shop. The staff are friendly courteous and knowledgeable. I haven't had them overcharge me (unlike at the shop next door "Shannons").They may not have the biggest or greatest selection but for a convenience / liquor / gas station / smoke shop, etc. store, I appreciate that they aren't overpriced despite their location on a busy highway - again unlike the neighboring store Shannons.I hope the next time someone tries to rob these guys they trip over their own feet and knock themselves unconscious as they hit the floor (:”

“I ALWAYS enjoy shopping at Save Mart in Merced and Atwater BUT the deli bakery in Merced leaves ALOT to be desired. Very rude, not helpful, ignore customers until we have to tell them to take care of the long lines!! Then they are rude because we interrupt their gossip sessions on what they have planned for the evening. I ask if they carried a certain product and was told NO, WE DONT HAVE THAT!! She neither checked or asked anyone but I did find it on my own and was told DELI carries it cut up!!! Needless to say I went elsewhere to buy it so they lost a $49 dollar sale. Atwater deli is better and will at least wait on you and try to help but often seems like they have worked long hours or just want to get out of there and no smiles, just tired looking. They are alot cleaner in Atwater. Merced needs to close down a few days and CLEAN THAT GREASE PIT!! The entire stores smells of old grease and it certainly does not give me an appetite for any of their chicken.”

Couldn't find expiration dates on them ?The price of gas is high, higher than I've seen for other places, but it is just off the freeway so that could be a factor.All in all I would return.”

“The card reader on pump 3 was not working the day I went. So I walked inside and man I was pleasantly surprised. I had not pumped gas at that gas station in years and I was expecting to see the same dingy store. Wow! I was wrong. The layout had been changed and it is very well lit. I would definitely continue to pump gas there.”
“We always go here for our propane. Aubrey is a very nice gentleman working the register. They do smog tests as well and if you get a coupon out of the local paper it makes them one of the cheapest places in town. I saw some other negative reviews and I'm honestly not sure what they were talking about. They always treat us well there.”

“Very convenient location near where you are going to run to get a quick meal from the many fast food places around that area, plus it sits between the two best McDonald's and KFC. It's very close to get groceries at Save Mart, prescriptions down the street from the pharmacy and not as hectic as the station on the corner. This one just feels more comfortable to stop at. You can get back out of the parking lot much easier than the one at the corner because of so many exits and you can even go out the back for a quick direction to shop at Save Mart or pick up your Domino's Pizza behind them. The guys working there are always courteous and helpful. They will even come out to pump your gas if you're having a problem with the pump. On top of all of that it's across the street from Merced High where you're teens can buy gas and exit the station much safer with the traffic light that leads into the school parking lot.”
“Driving back from camping in Yosemite. Got a hot meal nearby and then got gas here. Decided to risk it and add a car wash. It was just before the 8pm cut-off for the free pre-wash and the gentleman did a great job, gave him a decent tip for that. The car looks great for post-camping. Wish I could say the same for all the camping gear and myself. Ha.”
