“Solid spot to take your beloved VW in for maintenance/servicing. Brian and Michael run a great shop here! I've taken Tiggy to Metric a few times to get various things taken care of including simple oil changes, to more complex work like a carbon cleaning (poor thing was suffocating from his valves full of carbon).
Prices are fair and competitive, compared to what local stealerships charge. Brian is a certified VW tech, so it's not like you're taking your car to some random tech.
The driveway is shared with a ton of other auto repair shops, and it does get tight in there - so always a good thing to schedule a morning appt so you can get in and out as quickly as possible!
Spacious waiting room if you don't mind the four or so giant resident spiders hanging out in the corner by the waiting room window...”

“Took my 2018 Jaguar F-Type here for a pre-purchase inspection during my Carvana return window and I’m really glad I did. They caught stuff I never would have found on my own, including mismatched tire sizes, an undisclosed respray on the front bumper, and a seat latch issue. They walked me through everything with videos and photos, gave me a straight opinion instead of upselling repairs, and the written report gave me real leverage to get things covered. Fair price for the peace of mind. If you’re buying a used European car sight unseen, get it inspected here first.”

“I had been dealing with a rough idle and severe stuttering on my Ford F-150 for months. I genuinely thought my transmission was on its last legs. I took it to two other mechanics who couldn't figure out the error codes or fix the issue.
I finally brought it to Tony. Even though he specializes in Mercedes-Benz, he is a brilliant technician who can diagnose and work on anything. He pinpointed the issue right away and suggested replacing one of the coils. Boom—problem solved completely. The truck runs smooth as silk now.

“Went to Toyota for my regular service and they suggested about $1500 worth of services. I just got my oil change & tire rotation (covered by my service plan), then was referred to One Way by someone at American Tire. Inspection is $150, but they waived it for me since I got services done. It took a little while for the inspection to be completed (maybe an hr to an hr and a half), but it was so detailed. They broke everything down with pictures to help me understand their findings, and lack thereof. They showed me all the testing/inspecting they did and that more than half of the things Toyota told me I needed were not really necessary at that time. Apparently they often suggest things early just based on mileage, not really based on the actual condition of the car & its parts. Ended up spending about $300 (including 20% off one of my services for being a 1st time customer) on things that were actually necessary for my car at that time. They were also very kind and courteous, unlike the service advisor I dealt with at Toyota.”

I own a Jeep Wrangler JK and unfortunately I had the bad fortune of taking it to another shop that butchered my intake manifold threads, installed a non-OEM fuel injector, broke parts, etc. True nightmare of a wack job.
Tony, Mac, and their crew were as professional as it gets. Not only did they provide top customer service at every stage, but Mac and his crew were generous enough to explain and show me the aftermath the prior shop had done, clearly making an effort to be transparent on the investment I was about to make to fix the prior wacko service on my engine. Communication was 10/10.
If you want to play roulette with a mechanic go pick whichever 4-5 star auto shops out there (what I unknowingly did), but if you want reliability, expertise, and professionalism, Mac’s Automotive are your guys. Thank you Mac, Tony, and Crew, you guys rock.”

The work was done properly, without any fuss or unexpected surprises on the bill. Was it the greatest service in the world, or the worst? Neither.
