“Let me start by saying I love HB Auto & AC. Since I no longer have Ron at VW Specialties, it took me a long time to finally find a mechanic I felt safe with, and HB Auto & AC is it. I did not care that I was having my VW towed from Riverside to HB, they're worth it. The first visit 08/2025 they addressed multiple issues, that the VW dealership quoted me an insane amount to repair, and they did it all for less than the cost of one of the repairs at the dealership. And they did a beautiful job. She ran beautifully, and when I had to have my car towed in for what I thought was the same problem the previous visit, and I figured it was under warranty she still was running beautifully... However it wasn't the same problem. They had to break the news to me that my engine was shot. The head gasket blew and there was oil everywhere. There was coolant in the oil, oil in the coolant, it was a mess. They got me a very good deal on a new engine but I opted to get a new car. They didn't rush or pressure me to get the car towed from their lot, and I didn't wait. Even with their kindness, and understanding they still have a business to run and that would have been unfair to them and selfish on my end to leave her there longer than I already had, but it's nice to know if I didn't have an option right away, they would have worked with me.
I can't say enough kind things about them.
I'm staying in the VW family, and when the time comes, I will be coming back to HB Auto & AC. Thank you for giving me peace of mind. Sorry for the novel but I felt you deserved to know. ❤😊”

“Albert has been my mechanic for 10+ years and I was referred to him by my mom. He fixes what needs to be fixed and dives into issues to ensure that what's broke is properly diagnosed and repaired. His method may take slightly longer than a larger shop, but he is trustworthy and reliable. More than a fair trade if you are asking me! Additionally he has done a couple aftermarket installations for me and he does clean and clever custom work on those! If my vehicle is under warranty at the dealership, I'll take it to Albert first and get the skinny before I take it to the dealership!”

I will be back next time I need service. I had a battery service o. My V6 engine. My car requires the engine to be lifted out to do the service. Elsewhere the price was over $1000. The same service here was $400 less! Awesome! I love how my car is performing.”

“My dad’s been coming to Louis for about 20 years now Louis Senior and I remember his son working in his shop with him years and years and years back Louis Junior well now the day has come that Louis Junior is running Lewis transmission And man can I say he holds the same standard his old man holds Excellence took my Chevy Silverado there stressed out because I couldn’t make it to work. Louis Junior turned around my truck in just a couple days. had me back on the road I didn’t even have full payment at the time and Junior still let me take my truck because I had to get to work. I don’t know too many other shops out there that have hearts outside of work. My trucks running perfect And I’m able to make it back to work to get more money coming in can’t thank him enough Him and his dad are the best shops for transmission. That’s all they specialize in if You need your transmission fixed stop looking for other shops and come here. Also they quoted me half the price is what other shops quoted me.
