“This place is so awesome. It made me wish I had children (maybe). But it’s an excellent place to shop if you’re going to a kids’ birthday party. And a fun place to browse even for adults.”

“Fantastic customer service. Ashley went above and beyond to answer our stroller questions during a busy weekend. I didn't realize you can schedule a stroller consultation and I will definitely be back to do so. Ashley was knowledgeable, helpful and I knew she'd help me make the right choice for our family's needs. Can't wait to go back.”

“If buying a present for someone, be sure not to skip the complimentary gift wrapping. They're so speedy and do an amazing job -- they'll even use rubber stamps to fill out a cute little gift tag for you!”

“The nicest man in the world owns this store.

We were visiting from South Carolina and this wonderful man gifted my wife some children's books for her elementary school students when he found out she was an educator. His wife is a talented author and her books are amazing.

The store had so many cool items and trinkets that were fairly priced. If there is anything you need from your visit to Sausalito this is a must stop.”

“100% recommend visiting if you are looking into car seats and strollers.
Daisy is an expert at car seats and was able to explain the characteristics of each one and the differences between them to a pair of first-time expectant parents that were still dizzy from looking at all the choices online. Daisy also had fabric swatches for color/material options and helped us do a test fitting of the floor model into our car before making our choice.

Mika helped us with strollers and definitely helped us avoid making a wrong pick. She started out by asking a set of questions to figure out what style of stroller worked best for our lifestyle (totally different to what we thought we wanted when walking in) and then had us test out strollers in their demo area until we found one that made sense to us.

Pro-tip: They will do private appointments outside of store hours so call beforehand if you'd like dedicated help. We walked in on a Saturday afternoon and they were able to help us while juggling other customers but your mileage may vary.”

“I pick up a new kit every time I walk in here! Always something new, his stock is always rotating. I don't think I've seen the same kit on his shelves twice. Everything from entry grade to perfect grade unleashed, and reasonable prices (especially with the additional 25% off). Not just Gunpla, but also kits from Evangelion, One Piece, DBZ, Star Wars, and others. Keep in mind, it is primarily a Gunpla store if you're looking for anything else. The staff also has given me great advice on my builds, as well!”

“We cannot recommend this Spanish class enough! It’s absolutely awesome for little ones! Lorena and Yani are not only wonderful people but inspiring teachers and our son cannot wait for his class at Cucu’s Playhouse!”

“Ace hardware is my go to hardware store before Home Depot and Lowe's for certain items but for bigger jobs like sheet rock or lumber building materials I'll go to Home Depot but some of the bigger Ace Hardware stores carry everything I would need. I would recommend Ace hardware.”

“A kids game store in Sausalito. Very much aimed at the preteen and younger crowd. However, they do carry the Klutz Rocks and Minerals Kit that I have not seen before. They unexpectedly have a small assortment of about 20 bins of loose rocks/crystals/stones for kids and adults. They are right across the street from a crystal shop.”

“The Katachi, store is like being in Japan shopping; it really gives you that kind of feeling, the service by the two kind and professional guys who helped me; Hendson Hwang and Sean Campos, they were not only nice but very knowledgeable, so next time when you are in San Francisco go to Japan Town and stop by Katachi, the store is awesome.”

“A very small store for the serious anime- Japanese manga type figurines/ models and other collectables and some lower cost stuff for kids/ collectors on a budget. It's one of the few I know in the general bayarea that specializes in the trade and one the few that offer some of the original Japanese heroes collectable stuffing around SF”

“The proprietor is an absolute gem! We popped in impulsively and wound up with a great conversation, tons of fascinating toy + pop culture history trivia, AND a couple truly wonderful gifts for family. Thank you for the Star Wars action figures and Alfa Romeo collectible!”

“Revolution 9 is such a cute shop! I stopped by yesterday for the first time in about ten years. It was nice to see how very little had changed in all the ways that matter. Going down the list: Attentive customer service? Check. Excellent selection of fun, nerdy, and political gifts? Check, check, and check! If you have Star Wars, Tolkien, Harry Potter, or Studio Ghibli fans in your life, Revolution 9 is a great place to shop for gifts. I got my fiancé a funny "Greetings from Tatooine" postcard and found a My Neighbor Totoro insulated lunch bag for myself. I love the friendly and welcoming vibes here and will be sure to wait less than ten years for my next visit.”

“Nice little arcade and toy shop (some action figures, Trading cards) Many rhythm arcade games but also saw some fighting arcade games like Tekken and Marvel vs Capcom 2. Again, small place, limited games but good for quick Arcade play time.”

“I love every single item in this store! The owner has terrific, eclectic tastes, so you never know what you'll find here. Wonderful selection of vintage and classically designed toys, collectibles, and antiques. Easily my favorite store in the Bay Area, and a top 10 nationally.”

“Hidden gem for board gamers. They have a great stash of well selected board games. Yes it’s basically piled high with stuff and it’s not the most comfortable shopping experience but that’s part of the charm.”

“Best educational toy store I've encountered in the SF Bay Area. From Five Little Monkeys in Burlingame to various Barnes & Nobles' toy sections, I find most stores have the same products I already know of from Amazon. This store had Melissa & Doug educational learning mats, Bruder Caterpillar branded construction vehicles, die cast cars - and gift wrapping for everything.Additionally, the store was an experience for kids - Haba train sets, Calico Critters homes, this was better than Disneyland for many toddler aged kids.I should've taken more pics of this place - mine don't do it justice for the expansive, modern, clean layout.”

“For this holiday season, the cute toys and trinkets at PopMart are the "IT" gift for 2025. Adults, children and entire families squash themselves into this small store. There is a line to get in most days starting along Powell Street...but if you happen to show up when there isn't one, go inside and browse the selection. The mezzanine has a life-sized character for photo ops/selfies. The staff are very patient about answering questions (tip for adults: ask for gift advice if needed). Small items can be good value. Pop Mart appeal: most characters are " secret " in their boxes, so you don't know what color of character you'll end of getting. The mystery is just like gambling and a bit addictive. Best of luck on your choice!”

“Went in for the first time with my preteen. What a fun store! We were welcomed immediately as we walked in. The store was super clean and had great inventory. Loved the international treats! Sadly no squishy dumplings but we did manage to find some other fun items. Big shout out to Sherry at the register! She was friendly, helpful and a great representative for this store! We will be coming back regularly!”

“A wide variety of toys, clothes, and stuffed animals. Love fiddlesticks! Recently had a great experience where two ladies by the names of Naya and Samantha helped me pick out a gift for my niece.”

“Adorable quaint shop in the haight district STACKED with blind boxes of Sonny angels, smiskis and etc!! It feels a bit unreal stepping in here, whole interior filled with mini boxes. The interior is very bright, with white walls and light/pastel colors everywhere, feels like being flashed in the eyes. The interior is quite tiny, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is cheaper than most other retailers!! The smiski hipper I got was 15.50, wbile most other places sell it for 20+, and it's legit! Edit: I also bought some smiski straps ($10) and some regular series, about 13.5-14.5. I would DEFINITELY check this place out for authentic figurines!”

“Perfect little toy store in the mall that has something for kids most ages. They have a decent selection of board games as well if you're looking for something for an older kid (or kid at heart). If they don't have something in stock just ask and usually they are either able to put you on a list to be notified when it arrives. Staff is very helpful every time we have gone in there looking for something specific.”

“I actually really like this shop in Japan Town. They actually have some of the best blind boxes for toys that I've ever seen. They story is on the larger side which is great, but it can get busy on a weekend so get ready to play bumper shoulders with a bunch of random folks. Still staff is pretty friendly. If you like Japanese cute toys, then this is one of the better spots outside of Japan.”

“Great selection of jewelry, I think the prices are fair and added up correctly on the receipt. Bracelets had prices on them while ringsI didn't see tags on. I asked about some bracelets and they said they were made of rhodium which is great since they won't tarnish but arent expensive. The ladies did watch and take everything I was interested in and moved it to the counter, but it was no problem. Overall found some very cute pieces including some in similar styles to designer.”
