I like their direct approach in doing their assessment with their pieces of jewelry. It is not being rude it is just being honest. I was very surprised when Numis International sold their business and continue to miss them. I am glad to see the former employees stayed with the new ownership. However, I am missing all the beautiful vintage jewelry pieces that was with the former Numis Inernational.”

“I had such a great experience at Valliani Jewelry. What stood out immediately was the leadership in the store. The supervisor has created an environment that’s both fun and respectful — and honestly, that balance is rare. In many places, supervisors are either too lax (which leads to careless service) or too strict (which makes staff feel stiff and robotic). Here, it’s right in the middle. The team feels confident, professional, and genuinely happy to help.
Their approach to selling is also refreshing. They don’t just push products to make a sale. They really pay attention to what you’re looking for, make thoughtful suggestions, and treat you like you matter — not like a transaction. You actually feel special and taken care of.
At one point, a piece of an earring I was trying dropped. Instead of reacting with suspicion or awkwardness, they calmly helped me look for it and handled the situation with total grace. That told me a lot about their professionalism and trust in their customers.
Even with many people in the store, they manage to attend to everyone without making anyone feel ignored. Somehow the experience is so smooth and pleasant that you almost forget about the price tags… which is dangerous in the best way. ?

I took a watch in today to get resized. It’s a Breitling Navitimer with a notoriously difficult bracelet to adjust. I had taken it to a jeweler in San Francisco, Elite Fine Jewelry, who took 5 days to adjust my watch. And didn’t do it correctly. They said the half links could not be removed. Leaving me with a slightly too large watch.
I was in Burlingame and decided to see if Topper could assist. When I walked into the stor I was warming greeted, offered a beverage, and introduced to an associate (I’m terrible with names and can’t remember hers) who could assist me. We confirmed that I needed a half link removed which the associate said would not be a problem. 5-10 minutes later the watch was back on my wrist with the half link removed!
Topper earned a future customer in me when I’m ready to make my next purchase. If you’re in the market for a new watch, I can not recommend them enough!”
