“Everyone at Animal Dental Clinic has been amazing. Our corgi has a habit of chewing hard sticks, which unfortunately has not been kind to his teeth. Our first visit to the clinic was after he cracked a tooth and required a root canal. Unfortunately, our little stick-chewing enthusiast managed to crack the same tooth again.

Dr. Farcas and his team have been incredibly caring, professional, and understanding throughout the entire process. “Definitely worth the 30min drive and bridge crossing to get our community cats fixed through the TNR program. 3 of us had individually gone to another local cat clinic in Fremont to use vouchers. But staff was incredibly rude, understandably made mistakes, but was just mean for no reason. There were also a lot of unnecessary rules/requirements that probably deterred people from following through w/surgeries. We are all trying to help and rescue is stressful (I focus on dogs personally). But ease and kindness is what keeps people voluntarily helping these animals. “I’ve been taking my dog to Dr Adam for a couple of years now, he’s by far my favorite vet and I’ve tried several. I also LOVE Andrew at the front office. Their appointments are set up in 15 min increments I believe so you pay for the times used, it’s amazing (I used to pay the same amount for an average appt of 7 min w/o much info at all). I typically spend 30 min and Dr Adam is a wealth of knowledge so I love picking his brain. He shares about home cooking/bone broth, massage techniques, supplements, home teeth cleaning etc. My dog Lily loves him bc at the same time as he teaches me something new he massages her. He’s so lovely and so extremely helpful with minimal interventions. He never pushes unnecessary procedures which I love. He usually has very basic, straightforward solutions, many which haven’t costed me a dime. He’s a partner in health and one of the few good ones left. Bless his heart.”

“Love this vet office. Everyone that works there is a gem of a human. Dr. Restani is so knowledgeable and his Vet Tech Dana is so caring of all animals. The office ladies are so nice. Everyone works so hard to see as many animals as they can. Pricing is reasonable compared to all other vet offices on the peninsula. They even has a dog groomer in the building. Full service office!”

“My cat was dying. He was in terrible shape and I had spent thousands trying to figure out what was wrong with him. Called Dr. Metzger for home euthanasia. He perks up two minutes before she arrives so we change to quality of life appt instead. She gives me what I need to make him better. We change his food. This cat is thriving. She won’t be our vet because she specializes on in home euthanasia. She refers me to Dr. Ten at Camino Real Vet. We’ve been without a vet for some time after being with our vet for over a decade. I’ve had the hardest time finding a new vet. So when she suggested Dr. Ten that was it for me.

Called them and they were so kind and accommodating. Meet Dr. Ten when Vito had some lumps, one started bleeding.

Dr. Ten was amazing in our visit. I immediately felt comfortable with her and grateful for the referral.

I really love businesses that are run well, efficient, proactive, innovative. I’m rarely surprised.

This Veterinary is all of these things. They correspond via text. So easy. They have a back door to receive patients that can be challenging like my dog Vito. He doesn’t like going to the vet and he’s very vocal about it.

They have a second service area that accommodates pets like mine which is amazing. Not all vet visits are check ups and I felt terrible with my dog barking and carrying on. It had to be stressful for the other pets visiting and the staff. But they already knew that and had a solution.

In addition they provided sedatives for his visits so he’s so much calmer. They made suggestions to help him visit without the anxiety.

And they could’ve taken advantage but they didn’t. They gave us a quote for his surgery. They asked if we wanted to remove the other lumps. We said yes and I referenced one on his neck and near his eye.

They ended up removing five lumps and they charged us just under the low quote for which we were extremely grateful. They had found two more. I see my dog every day and forgot about the second one on his neck and didn’t realize there was another one on the other side of his peepee.

Their vet techs are kind, professional, articulate and serious about their jobs. Everything was explained in detail, they called the next day to make sure he was ok. Scheduling is super easy. Front desk does a great job. They have a very well built process and it shows. I really love this Veterinary from Dr. Ten to Dr. G to all of the staff.

“Dr. Sutter & his staff are truly Godsent. Dr. Sutter is very kind, knowledgeable and thorough. He has been looking after our pets for quite some time now, and continues to amaze us with his skills. I have a pretty big pack at home, and they all are patients at this clinic. My kitten had a recent surgery with Dr. Sutter to have his injured eye removed. I felt very at ease knowing my little guy was in the best hands. I have another adult cat that has been Dr. Sutters patient for quite some time, and he always provides great care and recommendations during annual visits. Our two dogs also are quite nervous around people, but they absolutely love Dr. Sutter and his technicians. They are so loving and gentle to them, truly treating them as if they were their own pets. His staff is absolutely wonderful, and kind. All of my interactions with them have been positive, and supportive. I am so glad we found this clinic, and Dr. Sutter. I give them all my strongest recommendation, and appreciation for their wonderful work.”

“Dr. J and the staff at St. Francis are fantastic. The staff are professional, friendly, and genuinely caring. They take the time to listen, answer questions, and provide excellent support throughout the visit. The clinic itself is clean, spacious, and easy to access, with plenty of convenient parking available. I also appreciated the TV in the lobby, which helps make the wait time more comfortable before being called into an exam room. Although we've never had to wait very long for my appointments!

One minor suggestion would be to mute the TV volume and consider showing more family-friendly programming, as it would create a more welcoming environment for all visitors. Overall, it is a wonderful clinic, and I highly recommend their services!

UPDATE: I recently dropped off my kitty for a dental cleaning and was pleasantly surprised by the family-friendly shows playing in the waiting area, complete with closed captions! There were cartoons for the little ones and cooking and travel shows for the bigger kids. Thank you!

The front desk and back-office staff are always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I never feel rushed during my visits, and everyone takes the time to answer questions and make sure I’m comfortable.

Dr. J is fantastic. He’s an excellent communicator who explains everything clearly and puts things into perspective in a way that eliminates any doubt or anxiety about what’s happening with my cats and what the next steps will be. I always leave feeling informed and confident that my pets are receiving the best care.

Update: teeth cleaning for Graycie went uneventful - as it should be! And a shout out to the fantastic front desk staff and back office technicians. All are incredibly friendly and a genuinely have a heart for pets. 😻🐶”

“My dog has been in the care of Avenues Pet Hospital for 3 years now. It can sometimes take a while to be seen for non-urgent stuff, such as the very first new client appointment and the annual exam, but otherwise my dog gets seen quite quickly as things come up (usually within a few days, and via email or phone when I have concerns but am not sure if they are worth an appointment). They did not allow people inside for a long while due to Covid safety restrictions, but we can now go inside to wait in the waiting room, and accompany our pets during their appointment. It seems silly for other reviews to complain about this when it was for a valid reason and not an arbitrary policy. The only times I can't accompany my dog is when he comes in for his regular nail trim and gland expression as an out-patient - this is done in the back where pet owners aren't allowed. FYI I get his nails done at the vet bc he has particularly long blood vessels / quicks in his nails, so I feel safer about it being done here, even though it's a roughly-done trim and I file them smooth at home. The vets are kind and I always feel like I'm getting their honest assessment. Front desk is also always very helpful. For reviews that mention they're rude - it can depend on the person tbh, but if anything I think some can be less warm than others, and I would *not* say at all that they've ever been rude. I think they're really busy nonstop and are doing their best to get through patients in an efficient manner -- and that can sometimes be interpreted as being a little cold, when really it's just being neutral. As a society we tend to think women are "cold" when they're not overly warm and are otherwise just being normal & neutral, yet don't think that of men doing the same. So let's check our gender bias, alright? One word of advice that I learned the hard way - most medications are substantially cheaper at Chewy or Costco, so ask them to send out the prescription! The vet office has zero problem doing that and it's never awkward. It's not a perfect system since Costco doesn't have everything, and Chewy takes some days for delivery (i.e., doesn't work for meds needed the same day). I don't say this as a knock against the hospital, as I think this is common practice for vets and helps keep the lights on. I instead say this as a heads up, because I didn't know this for the longest time.”
