The staff is always cool and super helpful, and I love the fact that you can try guitars in the guitar room with your friends to see what you want to buy.

Came here for the first time. As soon as I walked in got a bad vibe as the security guard isn't very welcoming. I greeted him and he just stared back at me with a blank expression. No one here to help you either. All the sales associate are just hanging out behind the register and don't even ask customers if they need help. Will take my business elsewhere.

I love standing around for almost an hour, waiting to just buy a pedal that I specifically went in for. I've never had a harder time giving somebody my money. Ended up leaving after that 50 minutes and just buying elsewhere online.

If i could give minus stars I would, went in today nobody welcomes you or says hi even though there were workers walking around all over, while standing at the counter looking up at the guitars a female associate asked if anyone was helping us we said no, she literally walked around the counter stands right in front of us and starts cleaning a quitar without saying anything else. To the manager you just lost a sale for today and future purchases, very poor customer service and experience i left with loss for words

This guitar center was pretty good for being in modesto. Not a lot of snobby band folks in here, but humble it seems like. They have a vast selection of amps, electric guitars, acoustic guitars, pianos, dj equipment and other music related accessories. They offer classes too.

Very good store but very bad service for Hispanic people, the young man named Nhoa was totally rude during the hour I was waiting, he served three Anglo people but did not pay attention to the customer. He was Spanish speaking, I consider it a very bad lack of respect for the customer
