“I ordered a Ralph Loren polo shirt for my husband to wear to his high school reunion. The color was obviously faded. I called the next day on Thursday at 5 am and spoke to Trisha in Massachusetts. She had a brand new shirt at the shop by 10:45 am on Saturday 08/09, the day of the reunion. I am so grateful to DXL and UPS for coming through for us!”

“Anything you want or need at this store for western wear. F they don’t have it in the store you can have it delivered to the store or to your home. Really helpful and nice staff inside the store. I love my boots. There is plenty of free and safe parking and ADA parking. The store is easy to locate in the Modesto Plaza Parkway. If you need your foot sized or have questions the staff is great. There is something for everyone in the family to get at this store. Their collection will f turquoise and silver jewelry is too much to choose from. Everything is simply adorable.”
“I had a wonderful experience at this store thanks to Petra, Maria, and the other team member. They were all incredibly kind, polite, and helpful. I also want to commend them on maintaining the store so clean and organized—it truly reflects their hard work and dedication.
That said, I do have some concerns for their safety given the visible homelessness in the surrounding area. As a suggestion, having additional male staff members or enhanced security measures could help ensure a safer environment for these hardworking employees.
Overall, the team here is fantastic, and I greatly appreciate the service they provide.

“The salesperson Daniel was really nice and very helpful. He grabbed mine and my girlfriend’s shoe sizes and color that we wanted. We felt terrible about when he was tying our shoes to get a perfect fit. Then at the last minute, we decided on a different color. I felt like a jerk doing that to him, but I’m happy to say he did everything we asked for. He had a great attitude and he was really fast.”
“Went into Kohls in Riverbank today with my mom to shop a little. Dana was absolutely amazing. She did all the things for us. She stopped what she was doing to help locate pants for us the store didn't have and then offered to order them from another store for us. She also helped my mom open up a credit card even though my mom just did the exchange. Amazing customer service!! Thank you so much Dana for making my mom's experience so easy. They work together to find what you are looking for as well as give you suggestions on other options to try on. They all have such a warm, welcoming positive vibe. “Haven’t been here in years but I ordered some lava lamps and was packaged very good. Arrived on time and was packaged carefully with bubble wrap. With that said ,
I do agree with others that the “adult toy/stuff section has to go. I’m not sure if it brings in “huge revenue” or, “pays their rent bill” with that section, but highly doubt people go to an actual “mall” to buy “actual adult toys” lol. Also, with that said.
I took my teenage kid here and warned about “other stuff” that’s inside , (since I wasn’t sure where the “other stuff” was) and sure enough, I saw a wall full of them so we decided to walk back out.
The adult stuff should be held in a back corner, behind a “glittery shiny reflective banner” to walk through so people can “see a sign that says adults only and walk thru a nice entrance” …. Ya know, kinda like they did back at the “video stores”…. You know… you…. Know…. Owner”

“They have a good assortment and good prices. Quite a few promotions. My daughter wears quite a few clothes from this store. It is located on the second floor of the mall and therefore there is very good parking. I recommend it if you want to buy clothes at low prices.”

“I went in on 1/3/25 looking for a pair of work boots.I ended up finding 2 pairs I liked and a couple pair of coveralls so I bought them all LOL.Both young ladies working were very friendly and helpful and I thought they had a great selection of boots and work clothes.If you are looking for quality workwear and boot this is a great place.If you are looking for cheap boots you should probably go to Walmart.If your a professional tradesman do yourself a favor and buy Quality boots and workwear!!”
“I stopped by this past Saturday to pick up my pair of white cement 4s I had reserved on the app, I picked up my pair and didn’t checked it throughly since I didn’t want to take up so much time since there was a line behind me, once I got to my car I noticed one of the shoes had a factory defect so I decided to go back inside the store I spoke with the manager about the issue and with no hesitation he helped me out and gave me a better, that manager deserves a raise he was really helpful even though the store was busy he still made time to make it right for me, I will define to be shopping here again thanks to the manager of the store customer service”
“Great and wonderful place to go. You get treated like family and get wonderful vibes when entering and deciding to buy. If you need help or don't know what outfits will match or seem comfortable then your in luck. They believe in helping and rushing over to assist any questions or deals you may not see on their board. They supply and have everything ready to bring. If you truly enjoy kindness and being greeted then ypu should definitely come here because they'll always make sure your sacrifice and okay and there to help if you badly need help or to talk about your style, fashion or your day to day life.”

“When I visited Tillys I had a good experience I was greeted and welcomed. I requested a fitting room because I wasn’t to sure about their sizing and everything was quick I tried on the pants got the right size and got out. Service was great there were two woman with black straight hair that made my checkout experience quick and easy. I rate my experience 5/5 good service, everything was easy to find, store was neat and very clean, and people at the register made checkout quick and easy. Highly recommend this location.”

“Update: The customer service team helped me to remedy the issue.Bought a few hundred dollars worth of clothing from Express that looked really nice. Unfortunately, one of the dress pants had a button come loose upon first wear.I tried returning in-store and they said that without the original tag I cannot return it, and told me to call customer service. I called customer service and they said to go in-store and there is nothing that can be done on the phone.Yeah... the customer service is that bad. Hoping now that the other pieces of clothing stay in tact, but the back-and-forth just left a bad taste that I don't think it's worth going back anymore.”
“Came in for some work boots, and left happy. A man who seemed to be the owner was patient and worked with me to find a pair that would suit me best. Definitely do not hesitate to go in for your next pair.”
