Modesto Gospel Mission is a place of refuge for recovery and restoration through the power and love of Jesus Christ. It provides nutritious meals, warm beds, and a place of safety for thousands of poor and homeless men, women, boys, and girls. The organization is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year. This gospel-centered place helps those who need it most, offering shelter and meals for those without a place to live. It is also a rehabilitation center for those struggling with addictions, with many people having their lives turned around there. The Mission is committed to sharing the Gospel and meeting the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of everyone who comes for help and hope. It is a favorite donation recipient, accepting gently used clothing and other items to give for free to those in need. The staff and volunteers are a joy to serve with, always appreciative and helpful. They are willing instruments in the community, providing help without shame and encouraging others to give in love.
Never been inside before this visit. It was a very welcoming, lively environment. If you need a place to stay, I highly recommend checking this place out.
