DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Monrovia - Pasadena Area offers clean, spacious, and comfortable rooms with great AC. The staff is amazing, wonderful, excellent, and kind, providing warm and respectful service from check-in onward. Guests appreciate the complimentary warm cookies, noted as amazing.
The hotel features a nice pool and a clean hot tub for relaxation. Its in-house restaurant, Elements, is very good for breakfast and dinner, with fantastic service and awesome food in the cafe and bar. The lobby also has a convenient snack bar.
The location is right off the freeway and is super close to Santa Anita race track. It is within walking distance to Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Canes, many restaurants, and downtown Arcadia. The area feels very safe with visible security. The hotel works well as a base for visiting various Southern California attractions, offering good value.

Hotel is clean and comfortable, although dated (dark interiors, a little wear and tear, etc.) Older design means it's not ideal as a workspace, but if you're looking for a clean room and a comfortable bed it's worth the cost.
