Pet Stores in Monrovia, CA

“This was my first time taking my dog to The Dog Zone, and I could not be happier with the experience! Samantha was her groomer, and she did an absolutely amazing job. My dog (poodle) is very anxious, so I’m always nervous taking her somewhere new, but she came out looking absolutely beautiful and, most importantly, seemed so happy and comfortable. They were quick, professional, and did a fantastic job. The shop is clean, the staff is wonderful and welcoming, and their pricing is incredibly reasonable, especially compared with what many other groomers in the area charge. I am so pleased with how everything turned out and so happy to have found them. Samantha did such a beautiful job, and we will absolutely be back. Highly, highly recommend!”

“Great place to come and do a self dog wash! Just came from the dog park and my dog was in desperate need of a bath. The staff is friendly and helpful. Will definitely bring my fur baby back.”

“Very friendly staff, clean store with nice selection including the Merrick canned dog food I want. It’s nearby with easy parking and quick checkout. Convenient location when I’m shopping next-door at Trader Joe’s.”

“Definitely pre-purchase your tickets online instead of buying them in person! Saves you some time since the pre-purchase ticket line was much shorter and I believe slightly cheaper. There's a little bit of everything here for pet owners, but definitely a huge must for reptile owners since they had 2 entire event halls for these cold blooded friends. Everything you could possibly imagine or need if you are a reptile owner including food (fresh insects and frozen rats), equipment and supplies, enrichment, merchandise for humans, and of course the animals themselves. Large variety and different patterns, colors, etc. I'm sure someone who is an avid reptile fan would love going to see what they have here since there was definitely an abundance of lizards, geckos, and snakes. There was also a decent amount of frogs for the amphibian folk out there. In this hall, they also had a Galapagos tortoise conservation foundation and it was the first time I got to see such small, younger ones up close that was not at a zoo and another sanctuary who had a monitor lizard, monkeys, and a caiman. Neat! As for the other pets there are some cats to adopt, a good amount of dogs, one foundation that was adopting out bunnies, and some vendors who were selling rodents and birds (smaller amount). There was a decent amount of supplies and merchandise for these pets too, just not substantially so. There was also a monkey show at this event which was a really big highlight as there was a huge audience watching. Some of the monkeys were retired celebrities and the show itself is pretty funny. Probably the first time I've seen a baboon be part of one these animal shows too. Overall a decent way to spend a weekend afternoon.”

“This is a really great place to take your canine or feline to get vaccinated, a wellness checkup or microchipped. Something I think is really cool is how you can get many vaccines plus deworming in a bundle & it decreases the pricing versus if you were to get them individually. I have a long hair chihuahua girl that's mixed with papillon. Small breed dog. So as you can imagine I wasn't able to go with the dog shield pro. However they recommended the dog shield bundle to me; which I went with & will be paying for 3 more vaccines but individually sometime soon. Very friendly employees ! Everyone there appears to be happy which is great! My pooch now has majority of her vaccines plus has been dewormed and I am very happy I'm looking forward to her being FULLY vaccinated & then lastly, spayed”
